What?
Documents (authenticated and translated)
• All documents need to be translated (German/English) and
authenticated
• Bachelor’s degree certificate: Students who have not finished their
bachelor studies but have passed at least 70% (CEMS MIM) or 80% (all
other programmes) of the examinations can apply by submitting a
confirmation of all credits earned so far, along with a provisional average
grade. Please note that the remaining credits must be earned by 30
September.
• Transcript of Records: The credit points relevant to fulfil the admission
criteria have to be included in your Transcript of Records.
Individually/separately registered courses not included on your transcript
of records cannot be taken into account. It is also not possible to make
up for missing credit points after admission.

Important Information
• Transcript of semester abroad: Should be considered for the
admission criteria as well if examinations passed abroad. Examinations
need to be considered by your home university
• For non-Cologne students: Official description of the content of all taken
bachelor courses/ lectures (e.g. Course Catalogue)
• Proof of English language proficiency is needed for all master’s
programmes
• Depending on the master’s programme you like to apply for it is
mandatory to upload more documents (e.g. Proof of German language
Proficiency, Admission tests).

2. Signed and printed copy of the application form and authenticated copies
of your application documents send to uni-assist via post.
3. Pay the application fee until the application deadline! Otherwise your
application will not be processed

Admission Tests
Accepted tests:
• No minimum score has to be achieved (exception: DMP Business
Administration min. 550 GMAT)
• Information on registration and test locations can be found online on the
websites of the external test provider and on http://ukoeln.de/95K3S
Applicants have to upload their test results on the application portal until
13 July (except CEMS MIM and DMP)
• TM-WISO: results which are transferred automatically will only be matched
with your application if there is no PDF file already uploaded and you have
used the same e-mail-address
• The calculation of the admission point score for the Master’s
programmes Business Administration, Economics and International
Management (CEMS MIM) is based on
(Bachelor) Degree mark or average mark
Result of the admission test
Interview (only CEMS MIM and DMP)
• Table for the calculation of the admission point score can be found
online: ukoeln.de/MSWVE
• The admission scores of the master‘s programmes Health Economics,
Information Systems, Political Science and Sociology & Social Research
are just based on (Bachelor) degree mark or average mark.
