Learning objectives

The Master's Degree Course in Aeronautical Engineering aims to form engineerscapable of operating successfully in areas characterized by strong interdisciplinarity, hightechnological level, high efficiency and safety requirements, in an international andconstantly evolving labour market. The Aeronautical Engineering graduate is able toanalyse, understand and manage problems not only typical of the aeronautical sector,but also of related scientific-technological areas.From a technical-scientific point of view, the objective of the Degree Course inAeronautical Engineering is to form technicians of high cultural and professionalpreparation, qualified to carry out and manage activities related to research and design inthe fields of aerodynamics, structures and materials, systems and systems, aerospacepropulsion.The education activities are carried out through lectures, practice classes, andnumerical/experimental laboratories. The lessons are also designed to develop transversalskills, such as integrated multidisciplinary design, independent judgment, andcommunication skills.

the Department of Aerospace Scienceand Technology of Politecnico di Milanohave recently collaborated with RegioneLombardia (Italy) to carry out tests ondifferent materials with the aim ofcertifying their filtering effectiveness forthe production of sanitary masks able toprotect against Covid-19.
