Massachusetts Institute of technology: an inspiration in revolutionary education system

Today I'm here to put a quick glimpse on Massachusetts institute of technology (MIT) and would like to comment on Indian and Pakistani education system in comparison to it. It was 1952 when B. L. Rogers, an American educationist founded MIT in the city of Massachusetts in USA, the subjective institute was established on revolutionary education lines, in the long run several American universities and colleges affiliated themselves to MIT, thus a strong and efficacious educational system firmed its roots, beyond doubt loads of credit goes to MIT that is training thousands of brains which pervade in various fields and performing research, this is indeed worth-mentioning that within 1957-2000 scientists and scholars of MIT had won approx 64 Nobel prizes.

Looking to such remarkable education system and its fruitful outcomes, India has also established Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in 2002 exactly on the pattern of MIT, now there are number of universities in Bombay, Behar, Delhi, Madras, Agra and Calcutta which are aligned with IIT, yearly near about 29,000 students passed out from these institutes and strengthening country's foundations, one can get the idea that just in the field of IT Indian's revenue has been escalated to billions of dollars, so that’s how education puts impact on economy of any country. The current Indian budgetary allocation in education sector is 15% of its GDP and presently there are 8,500 universities there which are diligently active in producing scholars of international standards, while on the other hand our Pakistan has got not more than 30 universities, our budgetary allocation in the respective sector is merely 3% of our GDP which surely needs to be enhanced if we want to produce quality education, the recent statistics says that about 25 million of Pakistani population is of 17-24 years and just 4.5% of it having education so if we really have to prosper our land then we have to raise our education standard, we must soar up educational funds, launch joint ventures in education field with other Muslim countries and marginalize our institutions on the pattern of active global educational bodies like MIT. Because it is not necessary for our economic boost but indispensable for strategic stability too.
