What is the Cool School Challenge? Points will be awarded to
schools for the number of volunteer hours and funds raised for
Special Olympics Massachusetts. The school with the highest point
total gets bragging rights as the coolest school in Massachusetts.
Every school that raises $2,500 or more, will earn 15% back for
their school to get sports equipment or school supplies. There is a
winning school in each category; Elementary School, Middle School,
High School, and College. 4

Fun Facts The Polar Plunge was established in 1999. Since 1999,
plungers and chickens have raised over $3.3 million for Special
Olympics Massachusetts. It is the largest single day Special
