The unknown challenge by its very nature does not afford us the luxury of the time to prepare and discuss what ought or can be done and we therefore, have a knee-jerk response. Many unknown challenges in life are connected to family and friends. Something suddenly alters theirs, or our, existence and it has an impact on all of our lives. So how do we deal with what life can and does throw at us? For me, the answer is to realise that no matter what the challenge maybe, it is seldom just solely myself who should have to deal with it. I realise that there is a part of my life directing me and hopefully enabling me to find the solution to the challenge. Sometimes the challenge allows me to find the solution but sometimes I have to accept that the solution is Gods way, and not my way, which is the only way to go. So, this year I hope all of us can find a way to accept Gods will and follow the path he has laid out for us, no matter what the challenge may be - he would always be with us, to the very end.
