Collection for 12/25/16 Christmas $ 30,427.25

Next Week’s Collection: CCTN

January 1st Collection will appear in

week’s next bulletin.

Questions of the Week Question for Youth: In your life, who helps you to see

Jesus in other people such as a classmate or a friend?

Question for Adults: Life can sometimes be rough: losing

your home, moving, feeling fear or danger. How do you

experience God being and staying with you in such times?

Domestic Violence Presentation by CCW

Will you be the one to help change the life of a woman? You may or may not know her, but she lives in your

community, and maybe even your family! Your knowledge may save the life of a woman or ( if she is pregnant) the life of her unborn child.

Come and experience a presentation that could change your perception of Domestic Violence.

This Program is sponsored by the Council of Catholic Women. This presentation will be on Thursday, January 12,

at 1:30 PM in the Holy Family Room. The CCW business meeting and brown bag lunch will

precede the program at 12 Noon. All are invited.

A Message from Fr. Mark

A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

As we finish the Christmas season and bring in a new year, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank

you all for “hanging in there” with us as we celebrated our “Charlie Brown” type Christmas. Though it may not have had the splendor of past years, I think it gave us all a reason to remember what is truly important, and that is the coming of

our Savior. 2016 was an exciting year as we saw the old

CCTN studio converted back into the Youth House and along with it, the establishment of the adoration chapel. We moved Religious Education to Mondays and combined all classes in the school; we instituted an 8:30 am Saturday Mass and we moved out of our church into the Social Hall for all of our liturgies till renovations are complete. For those who don’t know, the Social Hall is the original church on the property; it was built in 1951. We have since seen the advent of our “shuttle service” to help our parishioners get from the further parking lots to the church, figured out where we can and cannot park, and how much patience we have with each other as that last close

space is taken. 2017 looks to be even more exciting as we are

anticipating finishing construction and being back in our newly renovated space before Christmas! Please continue to pray for all of the construction workers

and everyone involved that the project can be completed safely and on time.

I also want to thank all of you who sent me cards with Masses to be celebrated for me or other goodies

enclosed; there were a couple of them that had no signature or any way to identify the giver so Thank

You to those people also. And Thank You for all the candy, cakes, pies and other assorted sweet things

that have been constantly delivered to the office; the third collection will be for my new expanded

wardrobe. May God give you only the choicest

blessings for a happy and prosperous New Year!
