May Friendship Day “Journey of the Caregiver” Sunday, May 3 2:00 p.m.
Darrtown United Methodist Church
4309 Walnut Street, Darrtown
(off of Route 177)
All are invited to attend this year’s May Friendship Day.
Joan Potter-Somer, Director of Oxford Seniors will be our
speaker. May Friendship Day encourages us to journey
with those in our midst who find themselves in the role of
caregivers. Many of us are on that journey. All of us know
persons who are now giving their lives to others with loving
care. This is a time to show our appreciation for all they are
doing. Our hope is that this year brings new challenges as
well as refreshment and new ideas as we “journey
together”. All are invited.

Thank You!!!!
Many, many THANKS to the staff and all the parishioners of St. Mary's, Oxford for your support, your hospitality, your prayers and the cornucopia of baked goods, snacks, apples and food items for this weekend's Kairos. Thanks too, to the numerous financial sponsors, alumns, parents and friends who provided scholarships for our retreatants. You made it possible for some of the saints to attend who would not have been able to attend!!! Thanks also to the parents, relatives and friends of the retreatants for your support and encouragement, your words of wisdom and reminders that we live in a world where love is closer than we often imagine. Special thanks to the marvelously creative, selfless, joyful and energetic Kairos Team who made this past weekend's retreat such a spirited event. And above all, SPECIAL THANKS to all the new St. Mary's Kairosians who challenged us to be at our best. We hope you have found a home here. We are most privileged to be able to walk the journey with you in your days and years here at St. Mary's on the Miami Campus. If you have found something here, pass it on to others, that their joy also may be "complete."
