The Mater Ecclesiae Network of Support (MENS) holds a monthly "Moms Morning Out" meeting on the third Saturday of the month after the 8:00 AM Mass, to provide support and encouragement to homeschooling families and those considering homeschooling their children. Nursing Home Mass

On the Second Friday of each month at 11:00 AM, volunteers pray the Rosary and attend Mass said by Fr. Pasley at the Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center at Virtua in Berlin. The next Mass will be on January 9. For more information, please contact Lucille at the Rectory Office 856-753-3408

Schola Caritas

Schola Caritas, a chant choir for gentlemen, will sing each month for the

Sunday High Masses. Repertoire will include the ordinaries, Hymns, and some Propers of the Mass. Rehearsals will be Tuesday nights 7:50 – 8:50 PM in the Saint Cecilia Music room.

CCD Classes

CCD Classes meet on the second and third Sundays of each month, September to May at 9:45 AM – 10:45 AM.

Grades K-4 meet on the second Sunday and Grades 5-12 meet on the third Sunday of each month.

House Of Charity 2008 

As we  enter  the  new  year  of  2009,  please  take  this opportunity  to  make  sure  that  your  2008  House  of Charity  pledges  have  been  fulfilled.    The  Bishop’s Annual Appeal  10%  refunds  on  collected  parish  goals will  be  going  out  shortly.    If  you  have  fulfilled  your pledge,  thank  you.    If  you  are  still  paying  on  your pledge,  thank  you  for  continuing.   Please make every effort to fulfill any pledges as soon as possible so that we can maximize the refund to our parish.

CAP Training Schedule 5:2

All Mater Ecclesiae parishioners who are  involved  in activities where they are in regular contact with children must attend a CAP training session.  The Diocese requires all adults in regular contact with children to attend a CAP session once every five years.     

The  Office  of  Safe  Environment  for  Children,  Youth  and Adults  arranges  CAP  sessions.    The  CAP  (Child  Assault  Prevention Program) sessions are part of  the Diocese of Camden’s program of prevention  under  the  Charter  for  the  Protection  of  Children  and Young  People.  These  sessions  teach  attendees  the  mechanics  of reporting  child  physical  and  sexual  abuse  as  well  as  bullying concepts and how to help children feel safe, strong and free.  

If you have not yet attended a CAP  training session, or  if  it has been more than five years since your last session, please plan to attend.    

In order to plan for sufficient materials, the Diocese needs to know how many people will be attending.    

To  register, please call  the  registration  line at 856‐583‐6165 or  email [email protected].   Please  register  at least 5 days before the session.   The following sessions will be offered in January:
