MWCEA CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTSWe welcome you to fully immerse yourself into the 2015 MWCEA Conference “The Zen of Workers Compensation: The Art of Case Resolution” featuring several never before experienced programs and segments.
In the current workers compensation environment, there are disparate forces acting on the system such as costs, reimbursement, appropriate care to the injured worker/utilization, and unemployment, to name a few.
In our complex, sometimes chaotic world, the “Zen Workers Compensation” theme seeks, during the few days of our conference, to calm the mind, bring clarity, and to infuse an elevated level of kindness to our workers compensation community.
It is our purpose to offer an educational and socially interactive program promoting these qualities.
The 2015 MWCEA conference promises enlightened, insightful speakers. We have several thought provoking panels that will provide enlightenment on a myraid of topics. We have also invited our newly elected Governor, the Honorable Lawrence Hogan or his designee and a national leader from the Kid’s
Annual ConferenceOctober 4-7, 2015 ~ Clarion Resort, Ocean City, Maryland
Maryland Workers' Compensation Educational Association
Chance organization, who will envelope the room with positive vibes brought forth from decades of leadership in compassionate support for children.
Also for the first time, we have added a “Finding the Center” reception meeting one hour prior to the opening reception. Exclusively for claims professionals and lawyers, it’s the opportunity to interact and perhaps seek resolution and find that elusive “middle ground” to start the conference with a clear mind.
We will present several new topics, including Integrative medicine in workers compensation; Professional Athletes and workers compensation; and Medical Marijuana permeates workers compensation.
And finally, as seen on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, let your light shine in the ballroom on Monday night as we present “Lip Sync Showdown MWCEA Style.” You know the words; perhaps you have even done the performance in the privacy of your own home. And, you don’t have to actually sing. So, bring on your awe inspiring lip sync performance by your favorite artist…YOU!!! Make plans to attend today! We promise you will enjoy the 2015 MWCEA Conference
