Comments/Notes 25/05/16 Interlocking issues, passed to contractors 26/05/16 Not sure what "scotch" is. 02/06/15 Left message for him to contact me and arrange visit 21/06/16 Had word with Andy to clarify "scotch", had a look and think this is one for Yakub. Can you put it on his list please Martin. 04/07/16 Yacub to check and advise by the end of the week 08/07/16 Chased 12/07/16 Previous comments seem to have disappeared, Guard removed and repaired, replaced and is now safe, setters link pinned, production wanted to use press urgently, so have had to suspend rest of work. 18/07/16 The issue was - Excessive free clearance and travel at scotch with guard open. According to Yakubs last comments, this could be a worn plunger, to verify this will entail some serious stripping of press so will have to co-ordinate with production for down time. 08/08/16 TS reported press was making an unusually loud noise every so many strokes, observed it being used and problem did not happen, however next day Tony said it had made a really loud bang, so I advised him to stop using press and we will investigate when can. 09/08/16 CW asked if we will have a look as next job. 10/08/16 Had a look, scheduled for Monday.. 16/08/16 Stripped flywheel off and clutch mechanism, plunger looks well worn but as to how much will need Yakub to examine. There has been no lubrication on press for some time, some parts missing altogether, looking into remedying this. Will ask CW to contact Yakub for visit to assess and reassemble. Have sent Mohamed a text explaining situation.
