How MARSOC Buys

• Large Multiple Award Contracts

– Managed by USSOCOM HQ in Tampa, FL

– Pre competed and awarded (Enterprise Support)

– SOCOM Wide Mission Support (SWMS) Group B: Training Support

• GSA e-Buy / OASIS, Navy GWAC, and NASA SEWP

– IT, Computers/Accessories, Multi-Functional Devices, Cell Phs, Services, etc.

• FBO (FedBizOpps)

– Services/Training: Comms, Intel, Medical, SigInt, ISR, and Exercise Support

– Products/Supplies: Equipment and Materials (Shredders, Books, Dive, Canine, Vet, etc.)

• Oral RFQs

– Low dollar values, quick turns done over phone and or via email

• Small Office: 8 personnel

– Mostly done via large SOCOM contracts…but not all (GSA & FBO)

• Supplies (~ 25% of our actions)

– Mixed bag: IT – Computers/hard drives, shredders, books, etc.

– Methods of purchase: Oral, GSA, SEWP, FBO.

• Construction (none)

Recommendations

• Send us your ‘slick sheet’ if you think you are able to support

– May be able to work you into RFQs or market research
