Redeeming Love is more than a feeling. It is a commitment marked by Redemptive sacrifice. No price is too high to pay for someone you love. Jesus said, “Greater love has no one than this; to lay down one’s life for one’s friend.” John 15:13. We live in a time when love has been commercialized. The word love seems to have lost its meaning. Love is more than the words you speak. Love is what you do.

The love story between Boaz and Ruth in the Bible is an amazing story of Redeeming Love (Ruth 4:8). Boaz paid the price that Redeemed Ruth from shame to the place of double portion (Isa 61:7). The love of Boaz poured out on Ruth lifted her to heights of joy and laughter (Psa 126:2). Redeeming Love is the key that opens prisons and sets the captives free. May you experience God’s great love this week!
