AREA OF EXPERTISE
Mark Hefner brings more than 30 years of experience representing occupiers and investors.
Mark is an experienced broker and is licensed in Oregon, Washington, California and Nevada.
Mark’s investment work ranges from research and development campuses to high-rises and
from large rural tracts of master-planned land to complex urban land assemblages for mixed-
use development. His work on behalf of office and industrial users ranges from large corporate
and government work to local business representation. In addition to his private sector work,
Mark has closed more than 3,500,000 square feet of government-occupied leases and sales.
PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Since 1981, Mark has successfully closed more than 600 sale and leases transactions
valued in excess of $1.5 billion in office, industrial and retail leases for public and private
tenants, and office/industrial building and land sales for users and investors nationwide.
Mark was recently the Lead Broker on a national contract with the U.S. General Services
Administration for eight western states and Guam.
BUSINESS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Prior to joining Colliers, Mark worked at an international commercial real estate firm and also
owned and operated three brokerage firms since 1985. Mark attended Lewis & Clark College
and graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor’s of arts degree in Art History and is a
member of the Lambda Alpha International (Honorary Society for Advancement of Land
Economics) and a member of SPIRE (Stanford Professionals in Real Estate). Mark is also an
Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America.
