HISTORY Al-Sharhan Industries was established in 1968 when the late Ahmed Abdulla Al-Sharhan was first granted a license to produce aerosol products under the trade name of AL-Sharhan Aerosol Manufacturing Establishment. Al-Sharhan was a visionary with an acute sense of business; he devoted himself to the project and in March 1969 began the production of Insecticides and Air fresheners under the brand name of KWIK. A few months later he was granted the Liquid Detergent Manufacturing License to produce the LULU brand. This swiftly became the most popular household brand in the market and even today the people of Kuwait still refer to any dishwashing liquid as LULU - the Trust mark of success for any brand. In 1976, the factory was upgraded and a new facility was opened with the latest Aerosol production line from Pamasol. This replaced the old Aero fill machine which not only handled the increasing demand for KWIK aerosol products but also ensured that customer orders are consistently met on time - a standard of service that the company had become known for. In 1994 this thriving operation developed further and was transformed into a company with limited liability, now owned by the heirs of the late Ahmed Abdullah Al Sharhan. In 1996, Al Sharhan Industries took another great step forward when it moved to a multimillion-dollar investment facility. This new site, boasting 20,000 square meter perimeter area, ideally located in the Industrial Area of Shuaiba, Kuwait. The state of the art facility was equipped with 10 modern production lines allowing Al Sharhan to meet ever-increasing demand for its products and services, in 2014 AL-Sharhan Industries launched new company logo to further fit in business world of today and now become known as ASI. 14

• Al-Sharhan Industries established a separate distribution entity specialized in the distribution of FMCG products, to distribute their own brands KWIK and LULU. Our distribution platform was developed to further grow and add more brands to their portfolio.
