Overview:

For a showcase to be effective, we need to get the balance right with a solid representation of quality products from Africa to attract the right type of buyers. In 2013 we were pleased to offer the attendees a good cross-section of our dynamic destination – Southern and East Africa were well represented, with parts of Central Africa covered and participation for the first time from the Indian Ocean Islands. The attendees responded well to this product mix, both for pre-registration and actual attendance and the feedback has been great.

Now in its sixth year, the Africa Showcase – presented by South African Airways and On Show – has become a regular feature on the calendar for the US travel trade. Our differentiator is that we take Africa directly to the source market. The complimentary partnership between SAA and On Show enables us to bring key suppliers and African specialists together in a dynamic exchange.
