Virtualised Private Simulation
Deutsche Börse’s Virtualised Private Simulation (VPS) environment is an on-demand, simulation environment providing members* with access to a dedicated instance of Eurex Exchange’s T7 trading architecture for testing and development purposes.
VPS is not an emulator, but a private, self-provisioned instance of actual exchange software, allowing members to write and test their own software, develop strategies or create specific market scenarios.
Each member’s instance of VPS is completely isolated from other members and accessible 24 hours a day using an SSL-encrypted Internet connection.
VPS comes bundled with several utilities that puts the control of the market into your hands:

Choice of environment VPS offers flexible access to two distinct T7 simulation environments:
Pre-release simulation allowing you to test the future release version, pre-production
Production simulation allowing you to test the current, production version of Eurex Exchange’s T7

Each T7 instance is assigned four unique member IDs, as well as:
Four trader IDs for each member ID (one security coordinator, one head trader and two traders)
Two high-frequency ETI session IDs for each member ID Four low-frequency ETI session IDs for each member ID
Complete controlSeveral intuitive tools have been developed and are available to assist members with the creation and control of their T7 virtual instances.
Once logged in, members can use the T7 ‘Launchpad’ for the creation, and termination of T7 instances.
Once the instance has been created, members can log in to their private T7 instance to access the ‘Mission Control’, allowing members to control the exchange-related behaviour of the T7 instance such as the market trading phase (pre-trading, trading and post-trading), and the initiation of various market scenarios such as open/closing auction, fast market situations and volatility interrupts.
