Its been great kicking of the school year as PTO President with a wonderful new PTO Board at Liberty Hill Intermediate – the best Intermedi- ate school in the state! The purpose of the Liberty Hill Intermediate PTO is to strengthen lines of communicaon, to build a sense of community, and to support our schools through fundraising acvies, services, and programs for the benefit of our children, teachers and parents. I plan to uphold these goals and to build upon the success of the previous PTO board, which raised funds to purchase Chromebooks and a 3-D Printer for the school, as well as hosted fun acvies for the students, teachers and staff throughout the year. Our new PTO board members are already working hard this year and coordi- nated a great welcome back breakfast. Thank you to everyone who dropped off items for this, making plenty of delicious breakfast items for the staff to choose from. It was wonderful to see so many parents showing appreciaon for the teachers and helping the PTO start the year off with great momentum. Being a member in the PTO is highly encouraged and can be at the level of parcipaon that you choose. It can be through volunteer acvies or just do- naons in the car line - its up to you, any contribuon is appreciated. Every- one is welcome to aend the PTO meengs, which are held the second Wednesday, every other month at 5:30 pm in the library. The first one will be held next week on September 11, 2019. Aending meengs is a great way to stay in the know of what is happening at the school and how the PTO is sup- porng the students and staff. Research shows children learn more and enjoy a beer quality of life when parents, school staff, students and the community work together. The PTO brings these groups together while providing informaon through meengs, newsleers, & social media, such as the PTO Facebook page and the PTO web- site (lhintpto.org). I am so pleased with the posive response and contribu- ons that have already been made to the PTO this year and I look forward to serving the school by bringing the best resources to the students, teachers and staff of Liberty Hill Intermediate. Thank you, Jennifer Daugherty, Intermediate PTO President 2019-2020

Hello parents! It’s been great kicking of the school year as PTO President with

a wonderful new PTO Board at Liberty Hill Intermediate – the best Intermedi-

ate school in the state! The purpose of the Liberty Hill Intermediate PTO is to

strengthen lines of communication, to build a sense of community, and to

support our schools through fundraising activities, services, and programs for

the benefit of our children, teachers and parents. I plan to uphold these goals

and to build upon the success of the previous PTO board, which raised funds

to purchase Chromebooks and a 3-D Printer for the school, as well as hosted

fun activities for the students, teachers and staff throughout the year.

Our new PTO board members are already working hard this year and coordi-nated a great welcome back breakfast. Thank you to everyone who dropped off items for this, making plenty of delicious breakfast items for the staff to choose from. It was wonderful to see so many parents showing appreciation for the teachers and helping the PTO start the year off with great momentum. Being a member in the PTO is highly encouraged and can be at the level of participation that you choose. It can be through volunteer activities or just do-nations in the car line - it’s up to you, any contribution is appreciated. Every-one is welcome to attend the PTO meetings, which are held the second Wednesday, every other month at 5:30 pm in the library. The first one will be held next week on September 11, 2019.
