Behavior Management Purple- .75 centsBlue- .50 centsPink-.25 centsGreen- .10 centsYellow- .05 centsOrange- .01 centRed- no payment
In my coop’s classroom she has a behavior system similar to this. I added more places for the students to earn positive rewards. For my behavior management system students start on green every day. Depending on their classroom behavior they can move up or down. For good behavior, like helping others, giving complements, and sharing and caring they move up. For bad choices like not paying attention and being mean they move down. Students get paid at the end of the day with play money. They get 10 cents for being on green, .25 for moving up to pink, .50 for blue and .75 for purple. It takes a lot of hard work to move up, that is why the amounts are more. Good behavior is expected from them, so doing the extra is what is rewarded. If students move down to yellow they get .05, orange is .01 and red is nothing. Students get paid at the end of every day. At the end of each month they can spend their money. They get to count it for practice, understand ways to use money sense and how to handle it. The students can save up to buy the bigger better prizes or they can spend the money they have on little things.
