Rosie Alice Huntington-Whiteley (born 18 April 1987) is an English model and actress. She is best known for her work for lingerie retailer Victoria’s Secret and for being one of their brand “Angels”. She has also worked for Burberry and was the face for their 2011 brand fragrance “Burberry Body”.

Moving into acting, she became known for her sup-porting role as Carly Spencer in the 2011 film Trans-formers: Dark of the Moon, the third installment in the Transformers film series, and for co-starring in Mad Max: Fury Road (2015).

While a 15-year-old student, she undertook work ex-perience at West End, London-based model agency Profile, before taking her GCSEs. Signed after grad-uating in summer 2003 aged 16, her first modelling session was for a Levi’s jeans commercial. She got her first big break in January 2004 when she travelled to New York for a shoot with Teen Vogue. She later made her catwalk debut alongside Naomi Campbell in New York in Spring 2004, and was then photographed by Bruce Weber for Abercrombie & Fitch.

In early 2006, she was signed to American lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret, making her début at the brand’s 2006 show in Los Angeles.

LETTER from THE EDITORNo man alive could handle Rosie Huntington Whiteley and her sex appeal

I don’t know what it takes for this lovely gal to wear those sexy outfits around your bedroom, but.. wow, wow, wow! A scorching hot lingerie photo-shoot with Rosie Huntington Whiteley will definitely get you in the mood for.. sleep. Here she is looking like a supernova of sexiness once again showing off her own skimpy lingerie line, Autograph. Brains, beauty and the cash to sustain both! Wow!

Now.. to be honest, I liked Megan Fox a bit more than her in Transformers because she seems naughtier than Rosie, while the blonde fox is a lot cuter for sure. But that’s all behind us, let’s just focus on the incredible dose of sex-appeal in front of us. Rosie is showing off her uber hotness in skimpy lingerie like you’re going to see below, and there are really no fit words to describe this cutie. Incredible!

Apart from the fact that she’s ridiculously sexy, Rosie Huntington Whiteley is also British which means she could make you melt in a matter of seconds with her damn sexy accent. Enjoy the sizzling photos, but not too much ’cause she’s probably going to be my future girlfriend, you know… if I could ever handle her. Cheers!

Mark Hamill (Luke Sky-walker)

Mark Hamill joined the Star Wars universe in its very first theatrical film. The lowly mois-ture farmer (Luke Skywalker) had no idea he was the long lost son of Darth Vader, and would some day become a Jedi Master. After buying the R2-D2 (everyones’ favorite droid) and C-3PO, Skywalker embarked on an incredible journey that has become Star Wars.

Mark Hamill (Luke Sky-walker)

Hamill kept himself busy, and now has almost 300 acting credits to his name. Many are for video games, and low profile animated and live action TV shows. One of his more suc-cessful jobs was his voicing of The Joker in several Batman video games. He is returning to his famous role as Luke Sky-walker in “The Force Awakens” late 2015.

Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia)

Best known as Princess Leia and for her gold bikini in “Re-turn of the Jedi”, Carrie Fisher plays the long lost sister of Luke, and lover of Han Solo. She is an expert with a blaster and never ceases to amaze her fans in the original Star Wars trilogy and many of her other films.

Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi)

Ewan McGregor played Obi-Wan in all three of the Star Wars prequel trilogy films. He was fairly well known for his work in “Emma” and “Train-spotting” before his role in “Phantom Menace”. Things only seemed to get better for McGregor after his role in Star Wars.

Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi)

Post Obi-Wan, McGregor made it big with his role in “Moulin Rouge!’ and “Angels & Demons”. He was nominated for two Golden Globes for Best Actor. Fans are also speculat-ing that he is gunning to be the next James Bond.

Top 10 Celebrity Sports Fans

Just like everyone else, celebrities love sports, but some of them have practically become mascots for their favorite teams.

Spike Lee - New York Knicks

Jack Nicholson - Los Angeles Lakers

On the opposite side of the Unit-ed States is die-hard Los Angeles Lakers fan Jack Nicholson. You can catch Nicholson sitting court-side at practically every home game, and you might even see him yelling at a referee or two.

Cars & Bikes

The All-electric Carice MK1

This incredibly beautiful vehicle, reminding everyone of the first generation Porsche cars, is the MK1 from Carice Cars. It was completely handmade, and that’s impressive consider-ing we’re dealing with an all-electric roadster; and a stunning one, at that. This is the Dutch automaker’s first vehicle and I have to say .. not bad for a first try. Not bad at all! Crafted inside a small warehouse in Holland, each Carice model weighs in at just 771 lbs.; that as possible due to the plastic bodywork.

The vintage looking vehicle features analog gauges and bucket seats, and a fully electric power-train, all for the price of about $36,000. Under the hood, the MK1 gets its go-go juice from the lithium-ion battery pack integrated directly into the chassis. Carive is offering the vehicle in limited quantities and in three trim levels, while the horsepower was measured at 5, 20, or 54. Not fast, but drop dead gorgeous!

The Hennessey Venom F5 is one mean machine

Cars & Bikes

This beastly looking ride is the Hennessey Venom F5 and I have to say I loved it the instant I laid my eyes on it. The Venom will do 0 to 186 mph (300 km/h) in less than 13.63 sec-onds, 0 to 200 mph (320 km/h) in less than 14.51 seconds and reach a top speed of 290 mph (466 km/h). And with that 7.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine growling under the hood, it’s no wonder.Do you get it know?

The engine will provide for 1,400 hp of pure excitement. The Venom F5 is also extremely light, since it was mostly built using carbon fiber and aluminum; weighing in at just 1,300 kg (2,866 lb.), it’s practically dust in the wind. The Hennessey Venom F5 creates downforce using its upper body shape, its underbody venturis, its rear diffuser beneath and its retract-able rear wing, which means it will stay on track while you enjoy them high speeds.

The Venom comes equipped with a single clutch paddle-shift gearbox, although customers may also opt out for a standard H-pattern manual transmission, as well as a GPS-based stability/traction control system. Are you ready for the price-tag? At least $1.2 million, with deliveries expected to commence in 2016. Sorry for the tease, boys, but this bad boy had to be shared.

The Navdy Heads-Up Display sounds good

It does sound good, but I’m not sure how much distraction will this cause to the driver while in traffic. It’s true that smartphones have become an integral with our daily lives, although I never use the phone while behind the wheel. Some of you will appreciate the innovative Navdy, since it looks to solve this new-age problem for good and allow you to solve your problems or just pretend you’re busy in a safer way.

The Navdy is a 5.1-inch transparent heads up display that projects everything from your smartphone right in front of your eyes; this means you never have to take your eyes off the road. Even better, the Navdy allows you to control everything using gesture controls, thanks to the built-in IR camera. It connects with your smartphone (iOS and Android) using low-power Bluetooth technology, although Windows Phone support would have been appre-ciated.

As an added bonus, the Navdy will also provide vital information about your vehicle thanks to the outfitted OBD-II power and data connection. Looking forward to this one!

I’m guessing you weren’t expecting this to happen or hit the scene. It has been a while since I was getting excited by Star Trek – The Next Generation episodes and their adventures through space. I still remember the Borg entering the scene and the impact it had on the crew of the Starship Enterprise, but aside from reminding me of childhood, the role of Star Trek is over. Until today, that is!

This is the Star Trek Borg Cube Fridge, and it’s available for purchase at about $150. It will hold nine cans of soda and it will look extra cool glowing green inside and out. The one foot square mini-fridge will not provide you with the full Star Trek experience, and fans will defi-nitely state nothing will. But, if you’re planning on keeping your beers cool and see if some-one else remembers the Borg, this seems like the best choice around.

3 Good Reasons Why You Should Spend Money on Yourself!

Travel & Money

It’s almost the holidays and you definitely know what that means: gift giving. And with that comes with a lot of smiling faces and to each their own, groaning wallets. Yes, this may be a bit of a downer for those who love the holidays because of the gifts that they will receive. Sure enough, this isn’t something to destroy the holiday spirit. As a matter of fact, it’s the complete opposite. Yes, indeed we do spend a lot of money during the holidays that emp-ties our wallets, but who says we’re getting the shorter end of the stick. When do we decide to spend our own money on ourselves? When is it okay to buy that watch you’ve always wanted or perhaps a PS4 you’ve been craving to buy? Here are good reasons why you should definitely spend money on yourself.

Page 45: Mariah Mag - December 2015

Necessities can have blurred lines.

Necessities doesn’t have to be things that you really need like perhaps a working car, or may-be toiletries. They can be emotional needs and mental needs as well. You’ve worked hard to buy all of these things yet you have’t bought anything for yourself. It is normal to want mate-rial things. Everyone has material needs. If you have worked your ass off for the money that you have, spend some of it for yourself for a change.

Gives you motivation.

Motivation is the key to working hard. If you are working so hard and you come to a point where you are just forcing yourself to get everything done and then some, you will definitely get tired of it soon and you are going to just end up doing badly performance wise. Use the money that you have earned and reward yourself. The moment you use that hard earned cash, you feel proud that you have earned it and worked hard for it and that you will be able to keep working hard because of it.

Gives you happy.

It doesn’t matter what anyone else says. Happiness is subjective. Happiness various from person to person. Happiness is decided by you. You decide whether you will be happy or not when a situation comes along. So whatever you perceive as happiness, then by all means. If it’s not hurting anybody. And by that I mean you spending some of your earnings and the rest goes to your actual bills. As long as you balance your personal expenditures, your actual bills, and your savings, I don’t see why you shouldn’t spend money for yourself.

Islands To Check Out Before They Go Under: Marshall Islands

Travel & Money

Climate change is truly adversely affecting our world and some of the most beautiful, pris-tine islands are going to suffer — or already are suffering — because of what we humans have done to the earth. Unless we can combat global warming and change our ways now, many gorgeous places will be lost to us all. And one such place is the Marshall Islands (South Pacific), just one of the many Micronesian nations endangered by rising ocean lev-els.

The Marshall Islands (capital: Majuro) has a pretty rich history, starting around the late 1700s when various nations decided to visit and settle on these picturesque Micronesian islands with such wonderfully thriving coral atolls. The Brits have been by, so have the Russians, Germans, Japanese, and the Amer-icans.

Some places worth checking out in the Marshall Islands are as follows:

Bikini Atoll

Bikini Atoll is part of the Ralik Chain, one of the two chains of islands within the Marshall Islands; “ralik” means “sunset”, just so you know.

If you’re truly into wreck diving, then Bikini Atoll is a definite jackpot for you, because back in 1946 to 1958, it was the site of USA’s atom bomb program where they detonated a total of 23 nuclear devices at seven different test sites (about 9 ships sank, although over 100 were actually destroyed). The locals initially thought it would quickly be over and voluntarily accepted resettlement on Rongerik Atoll, but once not enough food could be produced and they still couldn’t return home, they moved over to Kwajalein Atoll for around six months, then decided Kili Island would be it. After all, it really isn’t safe to live there due to the dis-covered dangerous levels of strontium-90 back in 1970.

They may be habitable in the near term, but virtually all of the islanders still living today never actually lived on Bikini Atoll, and are mostly living on Kili or other parts of the Marshall Islands. The US government, as of 2013, has also started covering medical treatment and other costs of each individual affected, and has paid, in total about $550 annually per person.

So history lesson aside, the sunken ships in the lagoon are, as an experienced diver has said, are truly an inspiring sight. Serious divers, this should totally be on your bucket list for places to dive in. And do it soon! Before it’s all gone…

If you’re worried about tolls on your health due to its history with nuclear explosions, don’t worry. It gets visited by a number of scientists frequently enough and are inhabited by 4-6 caretakers. Also, it’s been named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO due to tangible evidence of nuclear tests done in the area.

Arno Atoll belongs to the Ratak Chain, the other chain of islands within the Marshall Islands. And this time,”ratak” means “sunrise”.

And what can be said about it? It’s purely beautiful and worth every penny one spends to visit it. The coconut crab, as some has said, is also definitely something that needs to be tried out. And unlike Bikini Atoll, it most assuredly has no history as an atomic bomb detonation site. The lagoons are quiet and islands secluded, locals are friendly and there’s an ambiance of peace. It really is a great place to snorkel.

Just remember to pack some food though. Not all basic food necessities you may be accus-tomed to are available on the atoll.

Aside from those two places to check out, the following are also some things you could do while visiting the Marshall Islands.

Sport Fishing Marshall Islands – Fishing that involves big game, jigging, and casting. Oh! Not to mention deep sea bottom fishing. All this done around Majuro and the nearby atolls.

Marshall Waves Experience – Boating that isn’t only boating as the boats are equipped for windsurfing, surfing, diving, snorkeling, fishing, and even shell hunting.

I’m sure there’s still so much more to be covered about the charming Marshall Islands, but we do hope that this has convinced you to give visiting the islands a go. And maybe even seriously considering changing habits that may be negatively affecting our planet? Yes? No? Anyway…

There are many other islands worth mentioning, aside from just the Marshall Islands and we most definitely need to check them out before we can’t explore them anymore. Soon enough, these islands will just be myths akin to Atlantis. We’ll be covering these other islands in the near future.

How to Break Up with Her Without Breaking Her

Dating & Sex

Painful doesn’t even begin to describe break ups, especially if you’ve been with someone for a long while. Now that you’ve done the Math, accepted the signs and embraced the truth, it’s time: You’ve decided to end the relationship.

It’s impossible not to hurt her once she hears it but there are more ways than one to let her down gently. After all, what you’re about to do is a double-edged sword so here’s how to break up with her without breaking her.

Don’t walk in unprepared

We don’t mean memorizing what you need to say to her. All we ask is for you to know what to say because the last thing you want is saying something you don’t mean — or forgetting something you meant to say.

Collect your thoughts, choose your words carefully and be level-headed throughout. There’s no easy way to blurt out already hurtful words so the least you can do is be careful and come prepared.

Have better timing

Do not, by all means, tell her you want to break up with her if you know she’s about to go to one of the most important meetings of her life or she’s going through her finals in med school.

Remember, it’s not only about you. There are other things she needs to attend to and if you decided to have the talk with her in the middle of something very precious to her, then you might ruin something more than your relationship.

Tell, don’t show

You know how certain people show their better halves that they’re unhappy? How they’d rath-er go out and get stupid drunk rather than talk to their partners? You’re better than that and she deserves better than that.

Go ahead and tell her. Stop showing her your disappointment, dissatisfaction or whatnot. Save her the pain and tell her what you want to happen. It’s either she feels the same way or she doesn’t, which leads us to our next point..

Be honest

There’s a difference between being honest and being brutally honest. In this case, you want to show her an amount of tenderness. Remember, you’re talking to your partner here, not complaining about a whack service over the phone.

Be honest. Gently tell her how you feel and when she asks something, give her a straight answer instead of beating around the bush. You’ll save yourself a lot of time and an even more unnecessary heartache.

Never blame

This is not the right time to play “It’s not me, it’s you”. In fact, blaming should be considered a cardinal sin when breaking up.

It took two of you to build a relationship and it also took two of you to have come to this point in your lives. Besides, you care about each other. Blaming is just an immature per-son’s way out.

Respect distance

Afterwards, when she asks you to leave her sight, go ahead. When you need to move out, move out. If you need to not see her Facebook or Instagram profile for a while, go ahead and mute her. Try your best effort not to call or send her a text message about how you miss her.

This isn’t being mean or close-minded. This is allowing you to respect each other’s own time and distance. You need to heal, not be constantly reminded of what you once had.

It is impossible not to hurt her feelings when you decided to end things with her but it is possible to do it in a less hurtful and more mature manner. Try it. She might just prefer to remember you more fondly.

Make Her Swipe Right with Your Dating Profile

Dating & Sex

Online dating has become one of the best places to meet quality women. Whether you’re on Tinder or Match.com, a critical part of your dating success (or failure) is your dating pro-file — which practically makes for a first impression.

If you want to stand out from the rest, then heed these tips in coming up with the best dating profile. Who knows? The woman might end up swiping right.

Be careful with your intent

Other dating sites allow users to place their intent on their profile. Placing “something casu-al” in yours would only attract women who also don’t want anything serious. If you are trying to look for something serious, then go put “looking for a relationship”.

This form of filtering will help you save a ton of time and effort.

Share your profession

Quality women want men who are driven, stable and goal-oriented. It will be a big plus to place your profession in your dating profile. Otherwise, place your dreams and goals in the years to come. Women find men who have ambition incredibly sexy.

So if you have a career that you are proud of, go right ahead and showcase it.

Show your outdoorsy side

Apart from your profession, it would be a big plus to show an active photo of you, whether it’s walking the dog or playing your favorite sport.

Besides, it’s better to see you on daylight, outdoor light rather than her seeing a dimly lit version of you drinking in a bar.

Allow her to see your face and eyes

It’s easy for women to swipe left if the photo on your profile shows you wearing glasses or a cap. It’s better if she sees a better view of your face, particularly your eyes.

When you allow her to see your face, then it establishes trust not only on you but also in online dating itself. God knows how many ill-intentioned men are there.

Keep your photos diverse

Better your dating profile by uploading a variety of photos — one that shows you’re career driven, one being family-oriented, one enjoying a certain hobby and one that shows your best angle.

This is key to attracting women. It embodies a form of comfort and trust that makes her feel more at ease looking at your profile. This is far better instead of bombarding her with just one photo taken with different angles, which leads us to our next point.

Stop uploading selfies

Remember: Your goal is to find a quality woman you can actually have a fulfilling relationship with. When you choose to upload selfies, especially gym shots that show off your biceps and abs, you might appear as self-absorbed.

Like what we said in our previous point, embrace variety in the photos you upload. Show her that you are more than just a conceited guy who wants a woman to praise his Adonis-like body.

Smile!

A smile makes you look kind, genuine and approachable. Plus, it makes it look like you’re someone who knows how to have fun, which you are.

Elevate your dating profile from smug to boyfriend material. In no time, you’ll find that quality woman you’ve been longing for.

A Few Accessories for the Winter Season!

It’s almost winter and it’s time for you to update your wardrobe to suit the weather condi-tions that you will soon be facing. Yes, you could get by with just wearing a sweater. But if you’re not the type of person to like the cold, then we suggest you get articles of clothing other than a regular old hand me down sweater. And you never know, when you’re walking down the street making snow tracks, you might see some hottie walking by and you would want to look your best even in this cold weather. Here are a few accessories for the winter season.

Beanies

Beanies should forever be a part of your winter wardrobe. It is just as stylish as a baseball cap or a hat and it will also keep your ears warm. Ears are a part of our body that gets cold easily because it is one of the most sensitive. So why not invest on a few beanies in different styles and colors and you’ll be good to go.

Gloves

No, I am not talking about the leather kind. Sure, that could work. But if you’re looking for maxi-mum comfort and protection from the cold, then it’s best to choose the kinds with fur on them. Lambskin gloves are popular products because of the interior fur installed in it. That’s pretty amazing especially since usually the fur is only on the outside. As long as you match it with what-ever color you’re wearing, then you don’t have to worry about looking stylish.

Scarf

Of course scarves are a basic ne-cessity during the winter time. Just like the ears, the neck is just as sensitive, probably even more sen-sitive and it needs extra protection from the chilly atmosphere. There are so many types and styles of scarves out there that you’ll probably be confused on what you should get. Just get the most comfortable one and make it work by picking the right colors to complement your outfit.

Boot Socks

Your feet will still be cold even if you wear warm shoes. You should always wear socks for warmth especially when you’re going out or maybe even when you sleep. Your feet are pretty sensitive to tempera-ture so it would be practical to wear some socks. However, don’t just get regular socks. Go for the boot socks or something long so that you can have you calves insulated as well. Just make sure not to buy the novel-ty kinds.

Heineken will get you chillin’ with the Tabletop Beer Chiller

Food & Drink

I’m more of a Staropramen fan myself, but if you like Heineken beer better well you’ll proba-bly love their latest innovation meant to help you get wasted faster – and cooler, by the way. The Krups Heineken Sub is possibly a man’s best friend – sorry, dog – and the wife’s worst enemy, because it’s bringing chilled draft beer right on the kitchen counter-top.

Limited refrigerator shelf space aside, this will definitely start off some interesting debates. The boys won’t leave home, they’ll probably party at home so the girls will never be alone. The Sub will chill your beer to a perfect 2 degrees Celsius! What more could you ask for?

The device was built by the team at Krups – you know, those people who take care of wak-ing you up every morning with their home coffee brewing machines – and couldn’t be more simple to use: load the torpedo, and party on! Better yet, you may order new “torps” to be delivered right to your doorstep.

As the Sub is expected to hit the retail market this holiday season, I don’t want to hear any-body saying anything bad about Heineken; they might as well be Santa!

Cookout with the BBQ donut

Man, I’m hot! And I do mean thirsty.. as well. Still, it’s kinda difficult to decide what to do on a warm summer’s day, but two obvious choices easily come to mind: barbecue and boating, two of summer’s most indulged-in amusements. But what if you could somehow combine them?

German inventor and entrepreneur Sebastian Schmitt asked himself that very question and came up with this solution: The Bbq Donut — a circular sea cruiser fitted with a charcoal grill. Don’t know why a donut, don’t ask; it looks kinda cool, though. This ten-seater sailer has a specially installed low-smoke BBQ at its core — for both safety and optimal social interaction; besides, it would look embarrassing, and stupid, to be caught on fire with an ocean of water around you – literally.

The Bbq donut allows you to feast on your favorite roasted treats while voyaging at sea. storage compartments and an adjustable sun shade are incorporated into the design, creat-ing a comfortable atmosphere for all water-based party goers. I’ve got some problems with it, to say the least.

First of all, how the heck can you sail this? It’s difficult to navigate, there can be no discus-sion about hydrodynamic design and one strong wind and.. you’re off to the races. No, to the more.. practical approach: What if you have to pee?!
