iMpRensa

• Lauro Lisboa Garcia – Estadão - “The singer gets the crowd by her intelligence even with unknown songs”, “The spokeswoman of irreverence”, “Pleasing combination of fun, art and daring, something we lack of nowadays”.

• Lívia Deodato - Guia da Folha de São Paulo - “... beautiful and authentic, the singer is stylish, but far away from the “preppy” look most artists have nowadays”.

• Tarik de Souza - Jornal do Brasil - Dica de Disco – “There is life – and noise – besides Axé Music on the Bahian music scene, the debut of the singer Marcia Castro was ambitious...”

• Ceci Alves - Jornal A Tarde – “... with modernity and irreverence...”• Leonardo Lichote - O Globo – “The charming flirtation with the illicit runs through the album “Pecadinho”, that is the

meaning of it: the power of transgression lightened by its diminutive”.• Mauro Ferreira, Musical journalist – “Márcia Castro has attitude, a rare spice on the tasteless scene from nowadays. To

ignore this new singer is a sin...”• Pedro Alexandre Sanches - Carta Capital - Vários Elos – “Márcia Castro does her debut with eccentric songs”.

aRtist’s DeclaRatiOns

• Zélia Duncan – “In a period where a dozen of new singers show up each day, an album so full of concepts is a surprise”• Jorge Mautner – “She has a tenderness together with the fire of a volcano. Rhythm inside the rhythm and a dramatic dose.• Zeca Baleiro, about “Nega Neguinha” – “I loved it. Very beautiful and original. Since I did the song a couple of years ago,

the song sounded refreshed. Congratulations to you and to the producers. Well done!”• Arto Lindsay – “I wonder if it’s just because I’m writing this review during Carnival, but the first word that comes to my mind

to describe Marcia’s voice is carnal. A flirt, a twinkle of an eye, a smile... All of them are on her voice.”• Tom Zé – “I’m a big fan, I cheer for Marcia Castro and hope that, just like Midas, she gives a touch of gold and eloquence

on everything she sings, just like she did on “Pecadinho”. The artist is talking about the song by himself and Tuzé de Abreu that opens the album and named it. “The original Frevo is from Marcia. The one a recorded is full of arrogance”
