Ridgecrest…

We are excited to launch a new ministry targeting college and career age young adults named connect@ridgecrest. Our vision is to reach this critical age group in Dale County through the Word of God, con-necting in relationships, and prayer. Please pray that this ministry will bring strength to our congregations now and for the future. If you have questions, please contact Bro. Scott Thompson at (334) 733-2424. Wednesdays at 6:00 pm. American Heritage Girls...

AHG Troop AL0009 and TLUSA troop 316 will be hosting a yard sale at Ridgecrest Baptist Church on March 21 to raise funds for a trip to Space Camp and the Georgia Aquarium. Donations are being accept-ed at Ridgecrest. They will also be selling Boston Butts and Ribs. Con-tact Shelley Bartlett at 334-477-2097 for more information.

DBA Mission Trip News…..

Montana Mission Trip

September 2-8, 2020 (Wednesday – Tuesday)

We will provide construction/remodeling for a tiny home neighborhood

that is being built. 14 cabins are being built on 8 lots. Some construc-

tion or general knowledge of using a hammer and saw preferred.

This will be no more than a 15 member team.

$100 deposit due March 10, 2020 and will go toward the total cost of

$400 per person.

DBA Summer Mission Trip

The DBA Summer Mission Trip will be the week of July 20-26, 2020. Call

or email to sign up.

International Missions: Trip to Dominican Republic July 6-13. Contact

John Gunter at jdgunter@graceba.net for more information.

If you have any ideas or places where the DBA can go to spread the love

of Jesus by serving, please contact Bro. Jim Hill.

A Word to Consider

Are you on mission with Jesus? Are you doing what He has called you to

do in your church and your association to spread His love? Are you

involved as a spectator to see what's going on or are you involved as a

participant so you can do what's going on? Your association exists to

provide resources and opportunities to help enable you to share the

love of God with everyone you meet.

Speaking of opportunities…two of the biggest events of the year to

come together as an association is our Awaken Retreat for ladies and

girls and our Swamp Cookout for men and boys. Please pray. Please go

to the appropriate event and please take a lost/unchurched person with

you.

More opportunities…We have several mission trips scheduled but we

need folks to sign up for those so that we can nail down the specifics of

each one. The trips are listed elsewhere in this newsletter. PLEASE

email or call to register. Details for the trips will then be emailed to you.

We have a wonderful group of volunteers that come to your Ministry

Center store to sort, price, and display the donated items for sale in the

store. Each volunteer is so special! We could not do what we do with-

out each one! Please consider joining our team of volunteers and donate

a couple of hours a week or a month and begin to enjoy the fellowship

as we serve our Lord through the Ministry Center Store. Remind others

to bring their donations to us also!

Robin and I are so blessed and count it a joy to serve as your associa-

tional missionary. Thank you for allowing us to serve our Lord with you!

Dale Baptist Association…

The VBS team is excited to announce a brand-new way of doing our VBS rally! Please come join us for your VBS Fair on Saturday April 18, 2020 from 9:00 – 10:00 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church. This event will be a come and go, fun time. If any churches would like to purchase their VBS materials at the fair, your church will receive a 15% discount.

Also new this year, there will be a roving youth VBS held the week of June 15-19. ALL churches are invited for the associational Youth VBS. We are extremely excited about this!! More information will be coming soon.

Ozark Baptist…. OBC will be hosting the African Children’s Choir on Wednesday, March 18 at 6:00 pm in the church’s sanctuary located at 282 South Union Avenue in downtown Ozark. The concert is free and open to the pub-lic, and a love offering will be received for the Children’s Choir.
