STUDENT/PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES
Student/Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for: Thursday, March 19th & Friday, March 20th.
George Fitton school will be using the same interview times for March that were arranged for November
interviews. If your child is new to George Fitton school the teachers will assign you an interview time.
For those having special requests for scheduling, please contact the teacher by phoning or writing a note.
Efforts will be made to ensure that families with 2 or more children will have conference times that are relatively close together. Report cards will be sent
home prior to the scheduled conference time to give you and your child an opportunity to reflect on its message and to formulate any questions or goals that may be
discussed during the conference.
Your support, participation and continued communication regarding your child’s progress, plays a very important role in assisting them in their progress.
Grade’s 5, 6 , 7 and 8 Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences are from
9a.m.-12p.m. and 1p.m.-6p.m. on Thursday, March 19, and from 9a.m.-12p.m. on Friday, March 21.
Rather than setting up interview times, parents and students are encouraged to go to the classrooms between the above times and have a Parent – Teacher – Student Conference. In these grades , students may have several teachers and this format is to help parents and students meet with as
many teachers as needed. The length of each interview will be 15 minutes. If there are any questions regarding this
process, please contact Sherry Baker by email at [email protected] or by phone (204) 729-3223.
If you wish to setup interviews in advance, please email any of the following teachers:
