We are overjoyed to have such wonderful team members in Zimbabwe. They give of their time and talents with lots of love, Thanks to everyone who supports Living Foundation in whatever way. None of us could manage without each other and all the support you give us! Louise: There is not a lot of news from the Sisonke groups at the moment as they have been in recess. They have now started up again and our volunteers, Celia and Hellen, have begun lessons for the year. Our numbers are down on last year and we are hoping they will build up again when they get back into a routine. Quite a number of the ladies are involved in tending the community garden and this could be the reason for the drop in numbers. We have just given them an order to make the Living Foundation shirts for our team going in June so this will give them a challenge to meet. There are some real challenges with managing with poor facilities, particularly in Mazwi where there are no tables, chairs or storage facilities. We hope to address some of these problems this year but even forming a routine of meeting is of value. In some of these communities the self esteem of the people is so low that they feel they will not be welcome even at a church. Building confidence and giving hope is very important so that they can then believe that their venture can be a success.
