Aeration & pumping windmillsOxygen is a natural cleanser. It’s the key ingredient for quality water. These windmills maintenance system works year-round to provide your dugout with a continuous supply of oxygen, so you can control taste, odor and water quality. During the summer, oxygen is supplied by surface winds. However, surface winds only provide the top portion of the water with oxygen. What happens is the water stratifi es into two layers and the bottom layer remains choked.
By aerating the bottom of the dugout, you work with the surface winds to circulate the water from bottom to the top and provide the entire volume with oxygen. During the winter, ice seals off the surface and no oxygen can get in the water. By aerating the bottom of the dugout during the winter, you keep the circulation going and maintain proper oxygen levels to ensure fresh quality water year round.
An aeration windmill is all the maintenance you need to achieve quality water for livestock, irrigation, spraying, gardening, fi sh farming, and even household use. Aeration windmill is a direct drive energy transfer system that has no gear and few moving parts. The operation is effi cient and easy to maintain. The simple design is an added feature.

Solar aeration systems
Kits for pond aeration
The Keeton solar-type aeration systems (Solaer System) are high quality alternatives for ponds where electricity isn’t common. Made of recycled plastic, the cabinet includes all necessary components, including the charge control system which commands the solar panel, material charge and the battery back-up.
The battery back-up enables the system to run at night or during extended periods of poor weather. The Solaer System is designed to operate 20 hours per day and has enough battery capacity to run the system up to three days without any solar input. Two-year warranty.
To keep the water of your pond clean and healthy, an oxygenation system is what you need. A noiseless compact compressor and diffuser kits will add oxygen, increase water circulation, eliminate break-even points and keep your fi sh healthy by reducing their stress level.
Made for ponds with a maximum depth of 8 feet. The compressor feeds with air the diffuser kits with the help of a self-sinking rubber hose. Each of these systems are shipped with the plumbing tools, valves, self-sinking hose and diffusers.

Cabinets for air compressor
Especially conceived for a continuous use, oil less, with a moderate pressure. These rotary vane compressors are durable, compact and easy to maintain. More than twice the effectiveness of a piston compressor with a better durability. For use with demanding pressure diffusers in situations of lake and for in-depth oxygenation needs. The only moving parts, the carbon vanes, can be replaced in a matter of minutes with tools for everyday usage. Don’t forget to order your replacement vanes for more safety in your applications.
The most durable cabinets designed for air compressors in the industry. These heavy steel cabinets are almost 1/8” thick and virtually vandalproof.
They’re equipped with cooling fan(s), soundproofi ng, electric receptacles, built-in locks and bottom outlet holes (air compressors and valve outlets not included). The sound level is typically below 55 dB at a distance of 10’ and inaudible at 50’.

AirPower centrifugal blowers
Roots air boosters are conceived for a quiet and economic operation. These products supply an ideal air pressure (0-15 psig) or vacuum (0-16 Hg) for a wide range of applications. Roots air boosters are dimensionally interchangeable with some different models in the same competition. In order to answer all demands coming from our customers, Aquamerik offers complete models which include an air inlet fi lter silencer, rigid one-piece cast iron casing, anti-friction bearings, drive motor and a detachable steel mounting feet to maximize the effi cacity and reduce the occupied space and cost of installation. Two fi gure-eight lobe impellers mounted on parallel shafts rotate in opposite directions. As each impeller passes the blower inlet, it traps a fi nite volume of air and carries it around the case to the blower outlet, where the air is discharged. With constant speed operation, the displaced volume is essentially the same regardless of pressure, temperature or barometric pressure. Timing gears control the relative position of the impellers to each other and maintain small but defi ned clearances.

Volume and pressure not attainable with competitive single stage industrial blowers are now easily reached. These air blowers are as effective as those with motor, and even more: you can change the performance and engine. The motor can be electric, petrol, diesel or turbine (water).
You can increase or decrease the rotational speed (RPM) by changing the size of the pulleys. Aquamerik can assemble on a base the air blower and the engine of your choice to meet the requirements of a complete air system. We will be happy to submit you a quote request.
These blowers are the ideal solution for moving large volumes of air at low pressures or vacuums. They are a fl uid machinery that is widely used and applied in industrial sectors where high air pressure is needed. They are sold in 2 types of models: 1-stage blower (PB-101 to PB-501) and 2-stage (PB-102-1 to PB-402-1). 60 Hz motor, 220/60/1 voltage.

Entirely manufactured of plastic, “TELPAC” media will exceed the competition on the performance and durability for the quarter (1/4) of the cost of the other products available on the market.
TELPAC is a media of reputation for oxygenation and degasifi cation. It is used more and more for degasifi cation and as a bacterial support in the biological fi lters. Its big surface available (78 square feet of surface / cubic feet of volume) gives to TELPAC a single versatility for a higher result. Its diameter is 2.75” (70 mm) by a height of 1.125” (28.5 mm) for a total of 240 parts per cubic foot.

The Co2 degassing columns are excellent for water reuse and recirculation systems in aquaculture. Carbon dioxide excess can be toxic for fi sh and the elimination of this substance’s excess is critical. These columns remove simultaneously the dioxide and aerate the water.
The water goes through the vessel by the top and circulates inside the columns. A blower, specially designed for fl ow control and carbon dioxide removal, forces fresh air to pass between water droplets.
The dioxide is driven outward and oxygen is absorbed until dissolved gases come near saturation. Treated water fl ows down to the tank, and becomes ready for distribution.

Onyx oxygen generators are specifi cally designed for reliability, energy effi ciency and ease-of-use. The Onyx’s reliability, low noise level and ability to deliver up to 95% oxygen concentration make it a perfect fi t for many aquaculture applications, including fi sh farming, laboratory experiments, aquaponics and hydroponics.

The contact cones for oxygen and ozone transfer are designed to optimize gas saturation in the water. The use of gases can go up to 100%. The operation of these cones are simple: when gas and water (pure oxygen, ozone or other gases) enter by the bottom at high speed, the water shear itself and makes the bubbles move downward. When the cone extends itself, the velocity is being reduced. The non-dissolved bubbles continue to go upward, which allows the bubble-free water to exit at the bottom. When there is higher pressure, the dissolved oxygen concentration can go way above saturation. Available in 25 and 50 psi.
The pressure column is a high performance engineering system for large capacity injection of gas for applications such as fi sh farming, bottled drinking water, crop production in greenhouses and wastewater management.
The system is fully automatic, including: oxygen level controller, water fl ow and valves control. Result: 100% oxygen is dissolved in water.
Used like a saturator cone, but offer more benefi ts, like the disassembly option for easy cleaning, maximal pressure that can reach 80 psi for a better saturation process and space saving.
A non-included valve must be installed at the end of the saturator in order to be able to control the inner pressure. Transparent section to optimize the performance.

Alumina airstonesWe truly believe that an Alumina airstone diffuser resists 3 times longer than the silica diffusers, (force of tension: 1450 PSI). This force contributes to increase its longevity. Aluminum oxide is indeed way less soluble in the water. Since aluminum oxide is more resistant to chemicals, Alumina diffusers can be washed with muriatic acid and are tougher than silica. Moreover, it is possible to use less chemical products by washing organic materials with a fl ame. The thermal resistance of Alumina diffusers enables you to do it. Silica diffusers can’t be cleaned with a fl ame, since a “quartz inversion” happens, which causes a cracking of the diffuser. Aquamerik guarantees the Alumina diffusers for a period of 2 years. The Alumina diffusers are the best diffusers manufactured for the industry of aquiculture, water treatment and the applications of lakes aeration. With an air resistance of less than 0.25 psi, they can be used with low pressure economical blowers; they produce small uniform bubbles, their weights prevent them to fl oat and they are extremely resistant to clogging.

A little bit of theory...
Let’s take this example. We have a big bubble (20mm) with a volume of 4.19 cm³ and a surface of 12.6 cm². By dividing the large bubble, we get 296 small bubbles and an area of 83.6 cm². This aerates 6.6 times more water with the same volume of air produced. The perfect diffuser must provide small bubbles with a minimum of pressure drop to be suffi ciently heavy to sink and does not have to clog. This perfect diffuser already exists... the solution is called Alumina!

Aeration discsThese oxygenation discs can be used in corrosive liquids, for the water treatment or rejection in aquaculture. The oxygenation membrane in EPDM offers uniform bubbles and does not require any maintenance.
The principle is simple: when an air pressure is applied, the membrane takes expansion and the air is diffused on all its surface. At this time, the small openings in the membrane produce fi ne bubbles and when the pressure disappears, the pores are closed again at 100%. The inlet of the air is done by the lower part, which makes it perfectly compatible with the existing system in the ponds of purifi cation of water. To install the diffuser, simply make a hole on the surface of the pipe of distribution and to thread directly the diffuser on it. A ring of retention in ABS fi rmly retains the membrane on its basis and allows, in a few seconds, to replace it if necessary (generally after several years).

One of the simplest ways to dissolve gases in water, such as oxygen or carbon dioxide, is to introduce the gas as small bubbles - the smaller the bubbles, the more effi cient the absorption of the gas. An economical way to use pure oxygen that can save you as much as 45% of the normal cost. The microbubble oxygen diffuser produces a cloud of extremely fi ne bubbles - 100 to 500 microns. Bubble pressure is roughly between 25 and 35 psi (1.7 to 2.4 BAR).
The diffuser uses an ultra fi ne pore ceramic plate which ensures uniform bubbles across its entire surface. Ceramic is a clean and inert material. Please note that the majority of bubbles will dissolve before reaching the water surface. Maximum of 50 psi.

The Wedge-Lock diffuser system can let you attach with ease up to 8 units of 4½” length by 4½” of width. The oxygen capacity can easily be increased (or reduced) according to your needs, simply by changing the number of used diffusers for a maximum of fl exibility.
This diffuser system is corrosion and UV resistant. Recommended fl ow of 0.75 lpm and maximum of 50 psi. One-year warranty.
The plastic microbubble diffuser enables you to increase the effi ciency of your diffuser while controlling the relatively high cost of gas. It uses a pore ceramic plate which produces an ultra fi ne cloud of bubble of approximately 100 to 500 microns. The plate assures a distribution of uniform bubbles on the surface and reduce bubbles coalescence in order to achieve a rate of absorption of more than 80%, according to the level of depth and fl ow. The bubble pressure is between 25 to 35 psi (1.7 to 2.5 BAR). Recommended fl ow of 0.75 lpm. Inlet of 1/8” F/NPT. Insert adapter of 1/4” included. Maximum of 50 psi.
The Trac-Lock diffuser (1DTL001) is economical. It is possible to assemble up to 4 bases without any exterior support. The maximal operation pressure is 50 psi (3 bar). The diffusing area in simple assembly is 12¼” of length by 2½” of width. In double assembly, the diffusing area is 24½” of length by 2½” of width. Maximum of 50 psi.

Our pond aerators are built to last. Some of our original units have been operating for over 30 years. These sturdy aerators are designed to add oxygen to your pond to keep it healthy and attractive, whether for recreational or aquaculture use. Studies prove that aeration enhances water quality for fi sh growth and prevention of undesirable weed and algae growth.
A propeller-type impeller within the aerator draws water inside the aerator and initiates tremendous centrifugal force. The water is passed, under high pressure, through the slots of the aerator which stand above the water line. The TT model is excellent for movable ponds. The TT-1 and DT1 models are made of stainless steel, which make then usable in salt water at any moment. Lighting for aerator
The AQUAMERIK aerator is a system for the recirculation and the oxygenation of water. The design of this aerator allows barely no maintenance during the period of use. Its effectiveness doesn’t need to be proved anymore, the pisciculturists use it more and more. The water aerator reduces Co2 by 20 times. It reduces the temperature of your pond during hot periods and makes it possible to reduce the losses caused by the disease and the stress in fi sh by an increase in the oxygen rate. Seal and cable (2 feet) included.
Our company is concerned about the reliability of its products, this is why we’re now offering our aerators with a nylon propeller fi xed to the engine thanks to a special stainless steel adapter. So no need to drill the engine to replace the propeller. Even better, this principle eliminates any risk of vibration on the motor shaft and greatly extends our aerators’ life span. Two-year warranty on the Grundfos motor.

Paddlewheel aerators for aquaculture
The “AIRE-O2®” aerator is perfect for water aeration and circulation. Build on a rectangular shaped fl oat, the aerator is adjustable and propelled by an electric motor located out of water. Manufactured to resist all transportation conditions, extreme applications and deterioration as time goes by.
The suction propeller shaft can be adjusted from 25 to 45 degrees in response to different situations. The Series II comes with a nylon propeller, cheaper but very solid and durable. The high quality engine (from 2 to 5 HP) is cool down by an integrated fan (TEFC). Other power and voltage available upon request.

These high-quality paddlewheels feature high-effi ciency 60 HZ motors and high-quality gear reducers to ensure a long service life. The frame, drive shaft and hardware are 304 stainless steel, all compatible with salt water. Paddlewheel aerators are an excellent choice for medium and large ponds where movement of oxygenated water away from the aerator is most important.
The entire unit, including gear reducer and motor, has a one-year warranty (warranty requires the gear oil to be changed after the fi rst 3 months - use SAE 90 oil). Power cable not included.

These dock mount circulators can keep your waterfront, dock area or canal clean from algae, trash and decaying debris on the surface, while also forcefully blasting muck, silt, and decaying leaves off the bottom. High-velocity water propulsion pushes bottom debris 50 feet (or more) away from your swimming area and boat lift. Designed for both fresh and salt water, the dock mount circulators fully adjust in any direction, making them the ideal solution for eliminating decaying bottom muck and fl oating surface algae. They come complete with a dock post mounting bracket designed to attach to a pole or post during operations in the water. Available with oscillator that allows a 360° rotation to your circulator. Available with 50’ (by default), 75’ and 100’ cable.
Keep your waterfront, dock area, and canal conveniently free of fl oating algae and debris. These fl oating circulator models are made to push unsightly trash and organic debris to where it can be easily picked up and taken away. These products are fully adjustable for various directional fl ows.
The design of this particular circulator allows adjustments for tidal changes and for water levels due to weather conditions. Five-year warranty on the motor.
Note: these fl oating circulators were not conceived to eliminate debris found at the bottom of the water.
These solar powered display aerators combine clean, eco-friendly aeration with the focal point of a fountain: a spectacular solution for remote spots where running electric power wouldn’t be feasible or cost-effective. The aerators can spray up to 300 gallons of water per minute. This healthy fl ow rate does a great job at removing algae from the pond surface, maintaining clean and clear water, keeping pesky insects away and adding a lot of oxygen to your pond. They can work in both fresh and salt water. No battery needed for these aerators.
The aerator operates during the day when the sun is at full power and shuts itself during nighttime. The water fl ow is controlled by solar panels (24” x 36”) who bring water fl ow gradually up to capacity in changing sunlight. 70-feet cable extension included, available up to 150 feet (upon request).
