populated cities all over Europe in search of finding members of the

“lesser race”

By the time Allies liberated these camps, Hitler was dead & many Nazis executed

their cyanide pacts

To avoid enemy persecution, Nazis who chose to live fled their posts at

concentration camps

Jews, Poles & Gypsies had been left alone for weeks without food, water or order

As the truth of the Holocaust was revealed, the Allies decided to put the Nazi leaders on trial
