ZHIPL is a leading steel fabrication industry with a broad range of experience in the manufacture of highly complex steel structures. We produce a complete line of bridge structures, from plate girder bridges found in highway overpasses and interchanges to complex bridges such as arch, bascule (drawbridge), cable-stayed, lift, railroad, suspension and truss designs. We also offer additional heavy/complex steel structure fabrication.

We have two state-of-the-art facilities in the Delhi NCR and with more than 22,660 square feet of fabrication workspace on 26,000 square feet . Our plants have close proximity to highway transportation, giving us substantial reach into the India market for projects. While ZHIPL is a new company, it has roots that go back over 25 years at our facility in Zakir Hussain.

ZHIPL operations encompass more than 4 facilities and 500 employees in India. Its businesses are engaged in a wide range of industries, including Steel Bridge, Heavy Steel Structure Fabrication, Pre- Fabricated Building, Floods Gates, Silos, Steel Shuttering Plates, Scaffolding Items, Road Sign Board & Road safety Equipments.

Our Management Team

Zakir Hussain Managing Director

Zakir Hussain brings over 25 years of Fabrication & Erection experience, He has overseen aspects of over 200 bridge fabrication projects commercial, and operational expertise and a highly successful track record to ZHIPL. He has served important role in a variety of Steel Fabrication & Erection Projects.

Shaban NazarCivil Engineer

Shaban Nazar has 35 years of Construction management experience, including 20years of executive leadership. Prior to ZHIPL, he was EE of JKPWD from 1980 to 2000 and also served as J.G.M. of IRCON from 2001 to 2006. Shaban has also held positions with M.D. in JKPCC Ltd. He earned a M. TECH in Civil from the IIT DELHI.

Ishfaq Ahmed Zargar Planning Engineer Ishfaq Ahmed has 30 years of bridge fabrication experience, with 19 yearsin executive management and leadership positions. He has overseen aspects of over 300 bridge fabrication projects, including estimating, project management, sales and operations management. Mr. Ishfaq is a graduate of Kashmir Board and continued his B. TECH in Civil at the University of Kashmir.

Avinaw KumarProject Engineer Avinaw Kumar has 10 years of Heavy Steel Structure & bridge fabrication & erection experience, He has overseen aspects of over various fabrication projects, including estimating, project management, sales and operations management. Mr. Avinaw is a graduate of Kolkata Board and continued his Diploma in Mechanical at the Polytechnic College of Kolkata.

With a wide range of knowledge that includes simple railroad and highway spans to complex bridges and state-of-the-art structures, ZHIPL project management team provides expertise, guidance and dedication to owners and customers.

We offer the following project management services:

Value engineering to maintain and/or reduce project costs

Coordination of all interfacing parts to ensure accurate fit-up including structural steel, bearings, mechanical and electrical elements, and ancillary pieces

Scheduling assistance between all parties in order to complete your project on time

Consistent communication of project status between ZHIPL and customers

On-site assistance for owners and customers

Our team is committed to meeting customers’ expectations through proper planning, preparation and proactive attitudes. We complete each project on time and on budget.

Detailing/Engineering

We use Auto Cad software to develop our customers’ shop drawings. This software allows us to see each component in the entire structure and ensure that all pieces will assemble correctly and according to plan. It also assists in clash detection, allowing us to see issues with fit-up prior to the fabrication of any components. With the ever-rising costs of today’s construction, this type of technology is essential in the fabrication process.

Fabrication Services

ZHIPL has fabrication facilities equipped with CNC cutting, drilling and milling capabilities. We are staffed with skilled CWIs, production planning teams, and experienced bridge fabricators and painters. Each of our plants has its own unique strengths and assets, which makes ZHIPL the optimal choice for any type of steel bridge or heavy/complex steel structure.

Ghaziabad Plant Our Ghaziabad Plant facility has a history that stretches back 10 years. With more than 22,660 square feet of interior space on a 25-acre storage and assembly yard and a lifting capacity of 20 tons, largest facility and is capable of handling multiple large jobs concurrently. ZHIPL excels at complex bridges, as well as plate girder and heavy/complex steel structures. Srinagar Plant

Our Srinagar plant is a mid-sized, bridge fabrication facility located at SIDCOIndustrial Complex of Srinagar in the heart of City. The plant handles plate girder work in its huge bridge bay. While specializing in plate girder fabrication, Srinagar plant also works closely with our Ghaziabad Plant to fabricate components for larger bridges.

Consulting Engineering SupportZHIPL offers early support to bridge design engineers on future bridge projects. We preview bridge details, costs and delivery for engineers who want to design highly economical bridge structures.

Heavy Structure ServicesZHIPL also specializes in a variety of complex, heavy fabrication projects. One of our most prominent work was for a International Convention Center Patna Bihar. For this project, we execute the Gyan Bhawan Building a total of “7083300 Kgs” of fabrication & erection of structural steel.
