ALUMINUM ACCOMMODATION LADDERS

Accommodation ladders are made of the following types:

I – with a rotating upper platform and fixed steps;

II – with a non-rotating upper platform and fixed steps.

For convenience of operation, we recommend to order accommodation ladders of type I.

RECOMMENDED OPERATING ANGLEof the ladder's march to the horizon is in the range from 200 to 550. It is allowed to operate ladders of type I on fishing and cargo vessels, as well as ladders of all types on ships at angles of inclination from 200 to 600

At the moment, in the Russian Federation, only ladders manufactured by MEGAL in accordance with OST 5. 2330-80 are equipped with:

- a unique system of automatic lifting of the railing of the ladder march to the working position when lowering the ladder march from a horizontal position to an angle to the horizon of no more than 200;

- the unique system of automatic installation of the lower platform in a horizontal position at the angles of inclination of the march to the horizon from 200 to 600

POSSIBILITY TO INSTALL AND REMOVE THE GUARDRAIL

of the platforms is provided for all ladders without going out to the non-fenced ladder

The ladder steps are made of grooved aluminum sheet,which prevents sliding.

The upper and lower platforms have a grid construction,what excludes accumulation of snow and water on theplatforms.

It is supplied complete with products for the mountingand installation of accommodation ladders and angangway winch

ALUMINUM ACCOMMODATION LADDERSwith a swing-out platform according to ISO 5488: 1979Rules of the engineering for the outboard ladder: IMO Circular MSC. 1/Circ/ 1331, namely the construction of the ladder complies with the requirements set out in SOLAS II-1/3-9, taking into account resolution MSC. 256 (84) and ISO 5488: 1979

Accommodation ladders are made of the following types:

- Ladder with turning platform;

- Ladder with unturning platform;

For convenience of use, we recommend to order outboard ladders with a turning platform

from 3,6 м to 18 м with step 0,6 м more than 18 м with step 0,7 м

THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE LADDER IS CALCULATED

Accommodation ladders according to ISO 5488: 1979 have a lightweight and simplified construction and are an ideal solution for commercial ships.

It is supplied complete with products for installing and removing ladders and an gangway winch

to resist the following vertical loads:

- 735 Н (75 кгс) on every step of the march;

- 4000 Н (407 кгс.) - on 1 m.2 of the area of the lower platform;

- 4000 Н (407 кгс.) - on 1 m. 2 of the upper platform area

and loads from the loaded march and lower platform
