Product Description

The Big Foot Systems stand range offers a lightweight, pre-fabricated support solution for mini

splits and small AC units. The frame is designed to support most major manufacturer’s mini

split condensing units.

Developed for ground mounting of most major manufacturer's VRV/ VRF systems.

This lightweight and easily assembled Modular Frame system is quick to install and provides a

robust and secure method of support.

BS8000-4: Workmanship on building sites. Code of practice for waterproofing.

BS6229: Code of practice for flat roofs with continuously supported coverings.

Building Regulations (E & W) Part L: Conservation of Fuel and Power.

BS EN 1850-1: Determination of visible defects.

BS EN 1107-1: Flexible sheets for waterproofing. Determination of dimensional stability.

Metal framework:

Hot dip galvanized carbon steel: BS EN 10219-1. Welding standard: BS EN ISO 15614-1.

Galvanizing: BS EN ISO 1461.

Salt mist testing: BS EN 60068-2-52.

Test Kb severity 1. Design Load:

The Mini Split design load of 175kg (385Ibs) is based on the maximum allowable deflection on

the crossbars. Similarly, the VRF/VRV stand range is designed for a max load of 600kg (1323lbs)

Linear adjustment:

Adjustable slotted channel crossbar, to suit industry standard fixings.

Wind Loading:

Wind protected environments only.

Working conditions:

Suitable for internal or external applications in temperatures between -40oC to +80oC.

Plastic foot: 200mm (7 7/8inches) feet, manufactured from Nylon 6 B601L 30% glass fibre filled.

Foot Fleece: B9156—305mm (12 1/64inches) Recommended for use on PVC and asphalt roof surfaces to prevent migration of plasticizers.

Risers kits also available to increase the frame height by approximately 150mm (6 inches).
