Responsible for Cell Culture Production Development for improving Cell Growth, Productivity & quality of protein expressed using Shake flasks and Bioreactors.
Process parameter optimization, Media/Feed screening for different Recombinant protein & MAbs for high Cell growth and Protein yield by Perfusion method by ATF (alternate tangential flow filter), Fed Batch method by fixed and disposable reactors.
2. Biocon Limited- R & D department
Working on Upstream-process development functions. Experienced in Mammalian Cell culture Process Development for the generation of Monoclonal antibody and Recombinant protein therapeutics for Arthritis and cancer.
Responsible for Cell Culture Production Development for improving Cell Growth, Productivity & quality of protein expressed using Shake flasks and Bioreactors. Monitoring & Control of Bioreactor parameters while batch are in-progress.
Process parameter optimization, Media/Feed screening for different Recombinant protein & MAbs for high Cell growth and Protein yield by Perfusion method by ATF (alternate tangential flow filter), Fed Batch method.

(Chinese Hamster Ovary) Cell lines from shakes flasks to Lab scale Bioreactor. Preparation and updating of reports and SOP’s for audits of varying agencies like ISO, FDA
and routine drug controller inspections.

Operation of fermenters of varying capacities for cell culture and Virus culture 1 L spinner flask to 3600 L Fermentors.
Cell line handled BHK-21, Razi and Vero. Viral culture handled O, A40 and Asia 1 sero type. Handled varying volumes from the preparation of working cell banks, scale up in small
volumes, 100 L fermentors to preparation of bulk cultures in 3600 L.
Clearance of Viral proteins from harvest via online clarification process using Alfa Laval centrifuge aseptically.
Antigen concentration of viral protein scaled down from 3000L to 100L volume by Ultra filtration system using TFF membrane.
Maintenance of relevant records and ensuring timely delivery of samples to QC and filing of reports for future reference.
