PROFILE Manchanda Associates is a professional consultancy firm, offering expertise in architecture, interiors, health care planning as well as urban and environmental design. It consists of a complimentary design team capable of providing above range of services. The team comprises of principle architect Mr. R.C. Manchanda a graduate from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi (1955) and post graduate in Community Planning from McGill University, Canada (1970); Mr. Shamit Manchanda a graduate from the School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi, India (1989). The firm was established in 1993 after Mr. R C Manchanda left the Govt. of India service as Chief Architect, after working for more than 30 years, and Shamit Manchanda left a well-known consultancy, to start their own practice. With Mr. R C Manchanda's rich and varied experience in designing and executing offices and institutional complexes, telecom buildings, housing and urban design projects throughout the country, and Shamit Manchanda's experience at handling prestigious works for embassies and multi-national companies, the firm has dealt with a number of successful projects till date. SERVICES Manchanda Associates have chosen to be a mid-size firm so that we can give detailed personal attention to each project. After understanding the specific needs of the project, we respond with solutions that support peak performance, energy efficiency and user satisfaction. With their expertise, the firm attempts to provide a balance between functional requirements and aesthetic form. Our design response is determined by objectives and not by stylistic preconceptions. Respecting goals, time frame, and budget, we work on behalf of the client to obtain best possible services and products from contractors, vendors, and consultants. The team consists of a small nucleus of qualified, experienced and dedicated professionals, providing in-house services to cover a major portion of the consultancy work.
