Last April 17, around 11pm along Plaza Lawton, Ermita Manila,
Steve Bangalan,51, was hacked with a bolo by a man named Rey
Alicande.
According to the initial investigation conducted by PO3 Alonzo
Layugan,Bangalan and Alicande had a heated argument until the
suspect got irritated andallegedly took a bolo and hacked the
victim on the left part of his neck. Alicandeescaped along with the
weapon used.
Bangalan was rushed to Gat Andres Bonifacio Medical Center by a
man namedDanilo Nayve.
Doctor Rodney Famero, the doctor on duty in the said hospital,
declared that thevictim was out of danger because his wound was not
severe.
The police are still looking for the whereabouts of the
suspect.
