Masters Dissertation – The Design and Implementation of A Robot Test Cell

Using a Fanuc LR Mate 200iD robot which had been donated to the University for Research Purposes, a small scale assembly line sorting procedure was undertaken. This involved a number of work pieces which were transported using conveyor belts and sorted based on their size by the Fanuc Robot. This was controlled both in real life and using ‘ROBOGUIDE’ simulation software.

Also, I recently undertook a group project, in which, we had been given the task of developing and marketing a micro-scale product which will help alleviate the problem of electricity generation for future generations in the developing world. A concept was created using Wave Energy which was then modelled using 3D software.
