This is the time of the year when we tend to look backward and forward at the same time. Thanks to Mark Yothers, Dave Oswald, and Steve Mickel for serving as Officers of the Club during the past year(s). Say thanks the next time you see them. They are stepping down and Jeremiah Ulishney (V.P.), Jim Zamerski (Secretary), and Shawn Trout (Field Control) have been elected to fill those positions. Please give them the support they need to help our Club progress. Thanks also to Park Maintenance crew and Josh Miller for their work in keeping our field flyable. There are two indoor flying dates at the RMU Dome on Neville Island, Dec.28th and Jan. 4th. Contact me for more info or to set up car pooling.The First in the Air fly is on January 1st at 10 am. Come to the field to fly or just to wish your fellow Club members a happy new year.

Minutes for the December 3, 2019 Meeting24 Members present with one guest present, Lauren Halas, who comes to the field often with her dad Steve.
Officers ReportSecretary report approval of November meeting first by Don Accorsi and second by Dean Pollock. Treasurers Rene reported dues coming in steady and the treasury is in good shape. Report approved first by Dean Pollock and second by Ron GadeVice President Raffle was a 50/50 with proceeds going to Operation Santa ClausNewsletter Editor report 2020 Events are being listed in the newsletter and in Facebook. Requested anyone with info on events to notify Jim Z so he can post.Field Control Officer Mark reported everything OK.Webmaster Not present. Jim Andrews requested anyone with suggested corrections to our web site to notify him.
Presidents Remarks Ballots were handed out for field control officer and the votes were cast. Shawn Trout is our 2020 Chairman of the Field Committee aka “Field Control Officer”

All members asked to report any problems such as gashes, lifts. Etc.Sign committee Not presentStreamer Combat Bill C. reported that members have started to build the “Assassin” combat plane from “Crash Test Hobby” and that Robby Craig has already test flown his. There are 5 members who have initially purchased them and it seems as though this may catch on …stay tuned!

New BusinessNight Fly’s will be taken over by Shawn Trout. We are still in need of someone totake over our float fly. Please see Mark Y. or Jim A. for details.Show and Tell Rob Craig showed off his new combat “Assassin” flying wing. 39” wing, 18oz, 60mph, 3 cell 1300mah lipo, 1250kv motor, Tower Pro MG90 servos, EPP Foam construction.Flight duration 7 minutes. Rob says it fly’s well fast or slow and great for combat. Click HERE for photosRaffle was a 50/50 worth $74. Ticket was pulled by Lauren Halas and won by Shawn Trout. Shawn donated it back to the “pot” which is being donated to Operation Santa Claus. Thank you Shawn!

Our annual awards dinner was our last social event of 2019 and a great success.It was well attended and a good time was had by everyone.
Several prizes were handed out, along with trophies. Jeremiah walked out with three trophies!
Tim, Shawn, and Jim Z received one trophy each. Thank you Dave Oswald for putting this all together for us.
