The management officials of Malang Post perform a visit to Universitas Brawijaya (UB), Wednesday (30/1). The visit, accepted by the Rector of Universitas Brawijaya Prof. Dr. Ir. Yogi Sugito is aimed to improve the good relation of the two institutions. The atmosphere becomes friendly in the meeting in Seventh floor of UB Rectorate Building.
In the visit, Malang Post also explained the new program of the newspaper, article column. In the column, a full page is provided for literary works, short story, scientific works, and various other works that can accommodate the works of UB academic community. Besides, on February 16, Malang Post will perform training of article writing and news writing. The program is also welcomed by the Rector.
The Rector expects that through the visit of Malang Post, there can be a good cooperation. "Universitas Brawijaya have Communication Science major, which is closely related to medias such as Malang Post, it is expected to there can be some sort of cooperation such as internship of UB students", he said.
The visit is closed with handing over a gift of the UB Rector caricature made by the staff of Malang Post. The Rector gladly welcomes the cooperation offered by Malang Post. (shin/ussy/translated by yasmeen)
