Cong.: And He sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat.”

Minister: So they said to Him, “Where do You want us to prepare?”

Cong.: And He said to them, “Behold, when you have entered the city, a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him into the house which he enters.

Minister: Then you shall say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says to you, “Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?”’


Cong.: Then he will show you a large, furnished upper room; there make ready.”

All together: So they went and found it just as He had said to them, and they prepared the Passover. AMEN!

James 1: 19-22, Amplified

19 Understand [this], my beloved brethren. Let every man be quick to hear [a ready listener], slow to speak, slow to take offense and to get angry.20 For man’s anger does not promote the righteousness God [wishes and requires].21 So get rid of all uncleanness and the rampant outgrowth of wickedness, and in a humble (gentle, modest) spirit receive and welcome the Word which implanted and rooted [in your hearts] contains the power to save your souls.22 But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth].

How do I begin to pursue clarity?

I’ve got to learn to listen up, I’ve got to learn to be quiet,

and I’ve got to learn to stop wearing my

feelings on my sleeve.


I’ve got to understand the impact of anger in my life.


I’ve got to clean my vessel; that is consecrate myself.


I’ve got to receive the Word!

Minister: We are a tithing church because the Word of God teaches tithing, our experience gives witness to tithing; our obedience to God requires tithing.

Congregation: Then let us bring our tithes and offerings unto the Lord as He has prospered us, “for the tenth shall be holy unto the Lord.” Lev. 27:32
