Making a Slide Show

This tutorial will show you how create a Slide Show that you can share with others

by including the Slide Show player. This tutorial uses the images located in the

Samples/Travel album.

You will complete the following tasks:

� Select the album that contains the images for the Slide Show

� Rotate an image

� Associate a soundtrack with the album

� Select Slide Show options

� Save the Slide Show

� View the Slide Show

To make a Slide Show

1 On the Browse tab, navigate to the samples album located in C:\Program

Files\Jasc Software Inc\Paint Shop Photo Album\ Samples\ Travel.

2 Notice that the image of the bird needs to be rotated. Let's rotate the image so it

displays vertically on screen. Select the image of the bird, and then click the

down-arrow on the Rotate button and choose Rotate Right.

3 In the next step you will associate a soundtrack with the album. Click a blue

area in the Album View window to de-select the image you just rotated so that

the sound track isn’t associated with only the selected image.

4 Now let’s associate a tune with the album. Choose Audio > Album Soundtrack

> Choose to open the Choose Album Soundtrack dialog.

5 From the Look in drop-down list, choose C:\Program Files\Jasc Software

Inc\Paint Shop Photo Album\ Music \Piano Blues 1, and then click the Open

button to display the Choose Album Soundtrack dialog.

6 Click the OK button to associate the soundtrack with the album.

7 To create the Slide Show choose Share > Save Slide Show to open the Save

Slide Show dialog.

8 Choose a folder to save the Slide Show in. In this example, we are saving to

C:\My Documents\Slide Show. Make sure the following options are marked on

the Save Slide Show dialog:

� Include Album Soundtrack

� Include Image Audio

� Include Slide Show Player

9 Click the OK button to save the Slide Show to the folder you selected in step 8.

10 To play the Slide Show, navigate to the folder where you saved the Slide Show,

and double-click the Player.exe file.

Show with others?

Simply provide all of the files in

the folder where you saved your

Slide Show to the people you

want to share it with. All they

have to do is double-click the

Player.exe file to view your Slide

11 The Slide Show opens in the Slide Show player.
