What can you do to help keep your employees and business safe?

1. Do employees know what to do if the building has to be evacuated? Develop, post, and practice your company’s evacuation plan so that everyone knows what to do.

2. Do employees know what to do if there is a fire? Make sure that employees know how to put out small fires using a portable fire extinguisher.

3. Do employees know what to do if someone is injured or suffers from a medical problem? Provide employees with the opportunity to take a First Aid or Cardio Pulmonary Rescuscitation (CPR) class.

4. Do employees know what to do if they are forced to remain at work for an

extended period of time? Prepare your employees by having a plan and by providing kits containing items for an extended stay.
