JOSEPH BANKS RESERVE
Joseph Banks Native Plant Reserve is a beautiful nature retreat in Kareela, south of Sydney. It has been developed by Sutherland Shire Council to give visitors the opportunity to walk, picnic and relax in a stunning bushland setting. Stoddart Town and Park worked with landscape architects, Phillips Marler to provide a range of furniture to compliment the bush setting. The reserve also features Town and Park’s DDA-compliant, wheelchair-accessible BBQ.
Custom engineered solutions were also required to install a portion of the furniture to decking. For this purpose, the design team manufactured custom leg bases to distribute the weight load across several deck planks.
