All events scheduled for April have been canceled and May events are pending. Let’s see how things progress in the coming 4 weeks. We certainly are hoping our June sailing classes will happen as planned. Those en- rolled in the CPR class that was scheduled for Mar 21 st can still go online to complete the 5 hrs of training and print your certificate. We will schedule the hands- on portion when the pandemic has subsided. Work on the AquaScan RIB is progressing. We are still plan- ning on having the summer sailing classes. Please, stay in touch with each other while we are prohibited from meeting in person. Let someone on the board know of illness (if you wish to share). There may be something we can do to help. At the very least we can send good thoughts your way. Be careful out there and hopefully we will soon meet again. Warm regards, Jerry Lojka

No one can claim that life is not interesting or chal-lenging. I missed seeing everyone at the March pot-luck however, the TSC board had its virtual meeting to conduct business. Thank you, Lorrie. Oklahoma Department of Tourism has prohibited meetings of any sort at any Tourism facility(this included the BoatHouse) for the near future.

The Spring keelboat class has been cancelled of course. Most of the folks en-rolled opted to move their registrations to the fall class. The fall keelboat class will be held Friday evenings starting at 6:00 pm September 18, 25, and October 2. On the water practical training will be as arranged depending on weather and personal schedules in the days following each class.

We continue to offer the June sailing camps. Hopefully, we will be allowed to do these 60 days from, now.

The new RIB (MarieClaire) is at Blackbeard Marine for some new cables and a tune up.

The Carolina skiff has a new propguard installed. This one will hope fully al-low the skiff to go a little faster than the last one.

We have purchased an additional RS zest with money left over for our fund drives, a fifth zest will be a real benefit for our bigger kids and for the adult small boat class.

We have a proposal pending with the

Department of tourism and the Bu-

reau of Reclamation for an additional

boat shelter identical to the

one housing the pontoon and bay-

liner. Once that structure is blessed

by the park and BOR the

$3700 structure will keep the new

Zests and tractor out of the sun and

rain.
