MailOne 2.0 is companion software to the PostBase postage meter by FP Mailing Solutions. System RequirementsMailOne 2.0 is compatible with the following Windows operating systems: Professional versions of XP, 7, 8 or 8.1. (It is not compatible with Home versions.)
MailOne 2.0 Base/Driver SetupRun the MailOne 2.0 Base/Driver Setup file, and follow the instructions as shown below.

Download and Initial InstallationGo to fp-usa.com/support/mailone-20-support/ to download the three MailOne 2.0 Software Files for your PostBase Mailing Machine.Install the programs below in the order presented onto a PC that meets the System Requirements above:1. Microsoft .NET 4.0 — Creates the required
operating environment before installing MailOne 2.0 software. (Download and follow Microsoft instructions. For details, see: www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851.)
2. MailOne 2.0 Base/Driver Setup — Allows the software to connect and interact with the PostBase machine via USB.

PostBase Remote Service
WHO SHOULD DO THIS STEP:1. You are adding MailOne 2.0 to a pre-exisiting
PostBase.Press Menu on the PostBase, then tap “Remote Service”.
2. You get the error, “Your license has expired”.Contact your Dealer or FP Customer Service to Reset Triggers. Wait 15 minutes. Press Menu on the PostBase, then tap Remote Service.
Enter Setup Numbers
Enter the information in Settings by clicking the Settings button on the left side of the main MailOne 2.0 screen.
Application Tab
Enter the information in the Application panel as indicated in the table below.
Connect PostBase to Computer
Once the MailOne 2.0 software is installed on your PC, connect your PostBase mailing machine to your PC with the provided USB cable.
Configure MailOne 2.0
Once the software connects, you’ll need the following information to properly set up and use MailOne 2.0.Setup NumbersThe following numbers are included in your PostBase Welcome (RPIN) Letter, which FP mails to all new PostBase customers.1. FP Customer Account Number2. Consumer Base Pricing (CBP) Passphrase3. FP Mailer ID

Set Up Printers
Enter the information on the Print panel as described in the table below.
Transfer Tab
Enter the information on the Transfer panel as described in the table below.This will set up proxy (if applicable) and Electronic Certified mail (if desired).
FIELD NAME DESCRIPTION
Label Printer Printer specifically designed to print shipping labels. Options include the following:
• Dedicated thermal label printer, e.g. Brother QL-1060N (recommended)
• Standard page printer
Paper Size Your shipping label size.
• Choose 4”x6” if dedicated thermal label printer.
• Choose “letter” if standard page printer.
Report Printer Printer for letter-size reports. Typically the same printer that you use for normal daily printing.
Weblabel Printer Printer intended for printing electronic certified or return receipt labels
FIELD NAME DESCRIPTION
Remote section If you need to enter Internet proxy information, uncheck the box and fill in the fields. Check with your network administrator if unsure.
Registration Email The email you registered with fpcertfiiedmail.com (needed if you selected to send electronic certified mail in the MailOne 2.0 Application Settings)
User Id The User ID sent to you in your fpcertifiedmail.com registration welcome email
Sender Id The Sender ID sent to you in your fpcertifiedmail.com registration welcome email
