An-Noor has always endeavoured to help not only our school community, but our

Windsor community as well. Insha’Allah An-Noor will be holding a community blood

donor clinic on Thursday, November 30, 2017. Staff and parents, as well as friends

may call the Canadian Blood Services at 1-888-236-6283 to book an appointment

or go to 3909 Grand Marais Road East. Please mention An-Noor when donating. Donations do not

have to be made only on Thursday, November 30, but any day around this date. Insha’Allah we

are hoping to get at least 100 donations in the name of our school.

Tuesday, October 31st, our students had a great time jumping for good health. Our yearly event

to raise money for the Heart and Stroke Foundation was a success. Our students raised more

than $1,500.00 to support this amazing cause.

The An-Noor Boys and Girls soccer team played

friendly matches against multiple schools in

Windsor during the months of September and

October. They represented An-Noor spirit, good

sportsmanship, and a positive attitude on the field.

The first Crafty Friday was a huge success. Students of all ages enjoyed working and creating

things out of clay. A special "Jazakum Allah Khair" goes out to the Parent Council for putting on

an amazing event.

It is very important to write your child's

name on all personal

items, such as hats,

coats, jackets, hijabs,

etc.

Field trips at An-Noor are not only lots of fun, but

are also educational. Our students enjoyed

several fields trips so far. They learned the

proper way to pick apples, learned about the

many types of apples, and enjoyed a great time.

The school book fair will be held from Thursday,

November 30th to Tuesday, December 5th.

This is an amazing opportunity to purchase

books and other items for your children while a

percentage of the profits will be coming back to

the school library.
