Approved Labour Budget for 2019-20 : 700Lakh

WAY FORWARD Identify works with material components under Category A,B,C

&D.

Give preference for Individual, Groups and community works

Lesser contractor dependency.

Prepare a set of model estimates and designs, customise as per field requirement and execute .

Lady Mason groups have to be set up in all wards. Liaise with Kudumbashree for the purpose.

Liaise with Suchitwa Mission & Kudumbashree CDS for facilitation of works under sanitation and for SHG groups.

Convince all Grama Panchayat members, work mates the new approach and strategy.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAppraise Grama Panchayat Presidents, Members,

Mates, Data Entry Operators.

Scan your shelf of Projects and list projects with material component.

Substitute with new works, if sufficient works with material component are not there.

Sort easily doable projects that can be executed by beneficiaries themselves.

Prepare estimate and get Administrative Sanction / Technical Sanction etc.

Arrange works at field.
