This hymn or stotra has a peculiar structure. Each of the
verseshas aletter from the Mahaganapati mantram (viz)
Shrimahaganapataye namaha (namana) in the beginning. Inaddition
theyalso have a line from the Vedas in the second half of the
secondline. Forexample, in the case of the rst verse the portion
readingshriya.n vAsayame kule . is a sentence from the
Shrisuktamfrom the Vedas.
