Way Forward
► M-Governance –The royalty pass generated on the mobile shall be used bythe lease holder for the transportation of mineral.
► Hand Held Terminal : Use of HHT Terminals for Quarry Permit Holder /Lease Holder and Stockist with GPS Latitude / Longitude
► GIS based Mineral Administration – GIS based mapping of existing leaseswill be designed and geo-reference will be created for various layers such asroads, forest, village, sanctuary, revenue, gouchar, etc land and mineralbearing areas.
► Surveillance and central control room set up –The ultimate purpose ofsurveillance is to get visual information constantly, real time operationalinformation, and digital images to maintain security and intrusion detectionat the central monitored location.
► LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) based Mine Survey and MappingServices
► RFID for vehicle tracking – In order to curb the unauthorized transportationof minerals, an RFID based solution shall be deployed for tracking the vehiclemovements. 21
