In this magazine advert it is very obvious that the designer wants us to take notice of the multiple Ollys, As you can see that they are all in different positions. I believe this could be represented the different personalities of him and the perspectives in his songs. Also there is a line of symmetry, I believe this is there because it represents the simplicity of the music genre he is in.

One of the most common method of trying to get information across to the reader is the three stripe method, This is where the magazine advert is split in to 2 sections, these being the top part of the magazine, the middle and the bottom of the magazine advert. What is happening in this one is that we have the title in the top part then we have the ollys in the middle section and then we have all the information in the bottom strip. The amazing part of this method is that your brain will automatically look at the whole picture and not concentrating on certain parts.

The colour scheme in this magazine poster is really important, the red and black stands out well and catches the eye of the reader. It tells the reader the artist straight away. BUT overall it is simple and tells you the information you need straight away.

The typography in this magazine is very interesting this is due to the same font is being used in the magazine but the difference between the title and the information and the bottom is the colour of the font. The designer is doing this so the right information is popping up to the reader, has you can see the size of the font varies due to the fact of the importance of the information. For example the small black text is there because they need it to be but it isn't that important.
