Hari om! Pranaams to all our parents ! With the kind grace and blessings of our Parama Pujya Gurudev. We have successfully completed the academic year 2015-16. We would like to have a glimpse of all our academic and non- academic activities. “Success is a journey, not a destination”. We are striving to be successful in all the areas and strive hard to improve student performance in all the aspects. We are training our students for all-round development through Chinmaya Vision Programme. We are sure, we cannot accomplish anything without the support of our parents and well wishers therefore we regularly invite you all to our Vidyalaya programmes and accept comments and compliments with the same spirit and enthusiam. Integrated development is an integral part of our education. Success is dependent on effort and success is the sum of small efforts. We are happy to share the glad news that X std 53 of academic year (2015-16) appeared CBSE examinations and achieved 100% results. Eight students obtained 10 CGPA . Edu-fair is a platform to the students to showcase their scientific kits, creativity talent etc. Edu-fair was organised on 31st October 2015. 126 projects were displayed. It goes without saying that it was a grand success depcted by the huge turn out at the event. We have created a host of co-curricular activities that instill students with confidence and sense of healthy competition. Students were involved to take part in various inter house competitions like debate, elocution, solo singing, diya making, quiz competitions etc. Science Exhibition was conducted to bring out inner scientific talents of the children motivated and mentred by the teachers. Nearly 1200 to 1500 visitors came to the exhibition and blessed the children. Science Exhibition 1

Sports :

Knowledge can be gained out-side the classroom too. Yes!! a sound mind housed in a physi-cally strong body make a student more active,attentive and creative. We have celebrated thirdAnnual Sports Meet - 2015-16 from 23rd to 26thJanuary 2016.

Various Inter house competitions wereconducted and declared cock-house.

The vidyalaya motivate the students to participate various CBSEserious to explore their talents.

Inter-house competitions were conducted at regular intervals.

Students were encouraged to participate in Distirct & State level competi-

tions like Talent, Olympiad exams, music, sports competitions and students

also bagged prizes.

Talent search examinations like NSTSE, AIGK, Maths, Science, English

Olympiad. were conducted at proper intervals. The students of to the

Vidyalaya brought laurels in diffierent examinations.

Graduation day was conducted on 18th March 2016 Blossoming birds of Sishu Vihar have pre-sented colourful cultural programmes.

The child is given a wide exposure to the various aspects of ourculture and scientific heritage of India. Janmastami Celebrations,Annual Day celebrations and Group song competitions wereorganized.

Our students participated in the National Level Music Competitionsconducted by Bharathiya Vikas Parishad and got 1st prize in Folksong & 3rd prize in National Sanskrit song.

Bal-Vihar camp :As a part of Chinmaya Mission,theVidyalaya organizes Balvihar camp in ev-ery summer vacation. The main aim is toinstill values and provides children an at-mosphere to grow with noble ideas.

Bhagavad Geeta is an Integral part of Vidyalaya curriculum.The Vidyalaya provided training to the students and encouraged themto participate in the Geeta chanting competition at Vidyalaya level,District Level & State level competitions.

Various festivals were celebrated to encourage, appreciate andprotect our tradition. Kum. Sravya of X std stood as State championin Geetha Chanting competitions at State Level.

A sense of pride and true citizenship comes only when values like patriotism are inclulcated in the young minds.All National festivals were celebrated in Vidyalaya. The students were encouragd to participate in variousprogrammes like Fancy Dress (Unity indiversity), Cultural Programmes andEssay writing competitions etc.

Swacch Bharat :On the call of the visionary Prime Minister of India, Sri Narendra Modi,the students and staff of GMR Chinmaya Vidyalaya celebrated SwacchBharat Abhiyan in the month of December 2016. Students wereencouraged to keep their respective class room clean and neat. The bestclass was identified and awarded in the Annual Sports Meet.

Plantation :The Vidyalaya took part in tree plantation drive “Van Mahotsav” orga-nized by Green Club of Vidyalaya. Slogan writting, Poster making andtree plantation were some activities in which the students took part aspart of the drive.
