of Spain’s most rugged mountains in Picos De Europa National
Park, then travel to the golden coast of Asturias to surf the
ancient shoreline. Next, continent hop to Morocco, where you’ll
explore the mountaineering paradise of the High Atlas Mountains
and summit bid the highest mountain in Northern Africa, Mt.
Toubkal. Explore vibrant and unique culture, art, textiles and
spices of the Marrakech market and expand your lens to include
a culture you’ve never experienced. This trip is part European,

Meet your team in
Atlanta for a group flight
to Madrid, Spain. Travel
from the bustling city
center to the dramatic
Cantabrian Mountain
range, where you
will prepare for your
backpacking expedition.
Backpack through the stunning alpine terrain
of Picos De Europa National Park. The
trail will take you through high mountains
passes, stunning lakes, and ancient Spanish
countryside. You’ll spend each day trekking the
incredible views and valleys of the Cantabrian
Mountains, and each night nestled in remote
mountains huts called refugios. Spend this
time getting to know your adventure team
away from civilization in the rugged and
beautiful mountains.
Travel to the craggy coastline and turquoise
waters of Llanes in Northern Spain. Here
you’ll learn to surf the famed Spanish swells
of the Bay of Biscay, surrounded by ancient
architecture and jagged cliffs rising up from
the sea. Professional guides will teach you to
paddle out, read, and catch the waves. Soon
you’ll be on your own riding the tides of this
famous surfing destination. On the evening of
your second night in Asturias, you’ll prepare
to travel to Morocco.

Travel to Madrid to catch a flight to
Morocco. Landing in Marrakech, you
and your team will dive head first
into the vibrant and unique culture
of Northern Africa. Travel to the
High Atlas Mountains surrounding
the city and spend the night in a
Berber Village as you prepare for
your mountaineering excursion.
Begin your three day excursion in
the High Atlas Mountains as you
summit bid 13,671’ Mt Toubkal.
Towering as the highest peak in
North Africa, you’ll spend three
days in its shadow as you steadily
climb this stunning mountain.
Traverse snowfields and learn to
navigate a true mountaineering
route. The jet black rock of the
High Atlas Mountains will be your
backdrop as you live in the alpine
wilderness of Northern Africa.
Travel from the High Atlas Mountains to the
bustling and enchanting Marrakech. Spend
a day exploring the marketplaces, souks and
mosques of this cultural hub by foot. Then,
sample local spices, sip mint tea and marvel at
the colorful textiles, pottery, snake charmers,
and monkeys of one the world’s most
exciting street markets. Stay in a traditional
Moroccan-style house called a riad and spend
your evening enjoying an incredible goodbye
