Founded in Los Angeles by Michael McWilliams in 2008, the ethos of Madera Home is utilizing reclaimed materials to create new pieces with a history. We are passionate about traditional construction techniques and holding ourselves to the highest social and ecological standards. We began with beautiful 100 to 300 year old antique Elm wood, sourced from small villages, temples in disrepair and broken furniture in China’s Canton Province. Madera Home has expanded source materials to include metals and resin from industrial salvage. These raw materials are transformed into beautiful furniture, utilizing old world craftsmanship with modern touches. In 2013, we launched a private label and custom upholstery line with the same principles of workmanship and emphasis on comfort through superior engineering. We only use hand-built Alder frames and each piece is corner-blocked, doweled and glued. All upholstery is constructed in our Los Angeles studio and we are very proud to offer a 100% American manufactured product. We continue to strive towards innovative ideas in all aspects and redefine the home by reclaiming the past. Come discover the many facets of Madera Home.

Our collections of cabinets come in a variety of unique finishes that require over 120 different processes to complete. These cabinets fit perfectly by the side of a sofa, next to the bed, or as extra storage in any room.
