CREATIVITY
IS ANYWHERE
YOU FIND IT.It’s creating meets sharing.
It’s expression meets conversation.
It’s more than your camera.
It’s more than your images.
It’s Made in Polaroid.™

WelcomeFor 75 years Polaroid has been recognized for creating artistic mediums used by professionals and
amateurs alike. The technology provided instant results and true originals. The medium encouraged
playfulness and technical manipulation. Creation of art was open to all. Polaroid has encouraged and
partnered with artists throughout its history.
When we came out with the Polaroid GL10 Instant Mobile Printer this summer, we felt that we were
ushering in the next generation of the Polaroid instant experience. We couldn’t wait to get the product and
this new instant medium into the hands of creatives to see what they would do. We wanted to know if we
had succeeded in creating a medium for creativity that bridged digital and the analog print. We asked the
question…“What could artists do with this new medium?”
The concept was simple yet ambitious: 50 artists | 50 printers | 50 works of art – get 50 artists to each
create a work of art using a GL10 Instant Mobile Printer. We exceeded our expectations with well over 50
artists enlisted across various mediums to lend their artistic vision. The creative brief given to each was
simple; just use the GL10 Printer in some way. We didn’t want this project to have any limits.
What we didn’t expect was the range, quality and diversity of work that has been submitted. We are truly
humbled by the level of artistry and vision collected here. Taken individually each piece represents many
diverse ways of using a simple tool and the power of instant imaging. Taken collectively the pieces represent
a window into contemporary culture – a conversation with a common thread of this tool.
This collection and show is a symbol of how the digital, instant and physical worlds can come together
seamlessly; creating art that extends the boundaries of our expectations. We are grateful to everyone
who contributed to this project for helping to both define and illustrate the next generation of the Polaroid
instant experience as well as sharing their work and vision.
We hope you will enjoy this collection as much as us. Please don’t forget to bid on your favorite pieces. The
auction proceeds go to an amazing organization in FreeArts – benefiting children through the Arts.

Printing and making art all without ink? Amazing!
ZINK® MEANS ZERO INK® PRINTING
ZINK® is a revolutionary technology
platform that powers a range of
innovative products for consumer
and business customers.
Every ZINK-enabled device uses
the intelligent ZINK Zero Ink
Printing Technology from ZINK
Imaging®. The ZINK Technology
has over 180 patents and was
invented by some of the leading
scientists in the world. First
introduced in 2008, the technology
is in use by consumers worldwide in
a variety of printing devices.
Visit www.zink.com for more information.
ZINK® PAPER STRUCTURE
At the heart of the ZINK® Technology is the
patented ZINK Paper®, an advanced composite
material with cyan, yellow, and magenta
Amorphochromic™ crystals embedded inside, and
a protective polymer overcoat layer outside.
ZINK® AMORPHOCHROMIC™ CRYSTALS
The ZINK® crystals are colorless
before printing. Heat melts the crystals
creating color.
Artists all over the world are making works of art using
ZINK Paper® as their new medium.
