About  the  program  iCademy  Middle  East  offers  the  interac>ve  Macmillan  English  program.  This  program  delivers  a  unique  package  of  self-­‐paced,  online  work  in  vocabulary,  grammar,  listening  and  reading,  with  individual  recorded  speaking  tasks,  individual  wri>ng  tasks  and  small  group  speaking  tasks.    Key  features  include:  •   Self-­‐paced,  online  work  in  vocabulary,  grammar,  listening  and  reading.  •  Individual  recorded  speaking  tasks  •  Individual  feedback  from  an  accredited  English  speaking  teacher  for  wri>ng  tasks  •  Small  video-­‐conference  group  instruc>on  with  an  accredited  na>ve  English

About  the  program  

There  are  several  English  courses  available:  •  ESL  100  and  ESL  200  for  students  who  need  to  learn  the  basics  of  English.  •  English  for  Academic  Purposes  (EAP)  100,  200,  300  for  students  for  students  who  

want  to  prepare  for  study  at  an  English  speaking  ins>tu>on.  •  TOEFL  300  for  students  who  want  to  prepare  for  the  Test  of  English  as  a  Foreign  

Language  (TOEFL).  •  IELTS  300  for  students  who  want  to  prepare  for  the  Interna>onal  English  Language  

Tes>ng  System  (IELTS)  standardized  English  language  proficiency  exam.

How  you  can  study  Each  course  level  is  90  hours  long  and  can  be  studied  in  a  variety  of  ways:    Online  at  home:  •  Part  Time  -­‐  courses  can  be  completed  over  18  weeks  (one  term).  In  this  case  

students  would  complete  the  online  ac>vi>es  for  4  ½  hours  per  week  and  have  ½  hour  with  an  online  speaking  instructor  weekly.  

•  Full  Time  -­‐  courses  can  be  completed  over  4  weeks.  In  this  case  students  would  complete  the  online  ac>vi>es  for  22  ½  hours  per  week  and  ½  hour  each  day  with  an  online  speaking  instructor.      

•  Suitable  for  ages:  13+    At  our  Learning  Centers:  •  An  ESL  onsite  support  teacher  facilitates  the  course  •  Students  can  study  the  4  week  intensive  course,  at  our  Al  Barsha  Learning  Center.  •  Alterna>vely  students  can  study  the  18  week  course  at  our  Dubai  Knowledge  

Village  Center.  •  Suitable  for  ages:  13+

online  exam  is  not  a  pass  or  fail  test,  but  a  way  for  us  to  know  your  proficiency  

level.  

2.  Confirm  your  proposed  start  date  and  course  length  (4  or  18  weeks)  with  your  

enrollment  coordinator.  

3.  Provide  your  enrollment  coordinator  with  full  student  details.  

4.  Make  payment  with  the  finance  team.  

5.  Start  the  course!
